Haryana CM approves 900 MW power plant in Yamunanagar

The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India Chang Jae-bok, on his maiden visit to Chandigarh, paid a courtesy call to the Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Banwarilal Purohit and evinced interest in the promotion of cultural and educational exchange programmes.

Extending a warm welcome to the delegation, Purohit advocated the need for stronger between the two countries. He suggested enhanced people-to-people contact through cultural exchange programmes and assured as the Chairman of North Zone Cultural Center (NZCC) the facilitation of cultural troupes from the five Northern States of India.

The Governor apprised of the Ease of Doing Business and the one window clearance system for Investment in Punjab and suggested that the Korean manufacturing Industry would find a very suitable Environment for setting up their units in the State. He invited them to be a key partner of Make in India initiative by forging business ties and setting up joint ventures in Punjab and Chandigarh.
