After the meeting, the Chief Minister while talking to the mediapersons said that PM Modi has been invited to visit Haryana to lay the foundation stone of the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor to be constructed at a cost of Rs 5600 crore. He said that the foundation stone laying programme would be organized at Manesar or Palwal or any other place on the Orbital Rail Corridor route in Haryana.
Khattar said that he has apprised the Prime Minister about the new initiatives being taken by the Haryana Government like Parivar Pehchan Patra, Meri Fasal-Mera Byora, Mera Pani-Meri Virasat and Auto Appeal Software.
The committee shall hold discussions with the farmers organizations to resolve the issue of blockades of inter-state roads and national highways to avoid any inconvenience to the general public. The concerned divisional commissioners, commissioners of Police, Inspectors General of Police, District magistrates and superintendents of police shall also be associated with the committee for holding discussions with the farmers.
