An official Communication said 55 lakh tonnes of paddy have been procured till Friday and Rs 11,158 crores have been paid to 13.98 lakh farmers.
The government has a target of procuring 110 lakh tonnes of paddy this Kharif season.
Food Secretary Topeshwar Verma said the government has made all arrangements to issue online tokens along to buy paddy from farmers at support price.
A large number of farmers are choosing the date to sell paddy through tokens issued through Token Tuhar Haath app. He said 25.92 lakh farmers have been registered in the state, of which about 2.26 lakh are new registered farmers. A total of 2,594 procurement centers have been set up for paddy purchase.
