Quoting data from theEmployment Exchange Statistics, 2023, the on Thursday said thatGujaratis the first among all states in terms of providing EMPLOYMENT to youth through the employment exchange.
In the past five years, over 7,000 employment fairs have been organized and more than 15 lakh applicants have been provided jobs. In 2022, 2.74 lakh youths were provided jobs through the employment exchange, which accounts for 43% of all jobs provided across the country. In terms of providing employment to Women, Gujarat stood second in the country in 2022.
