Gujarat government has decided to form a committee to look into the challenges and issues arising from mass promotion to Class X students and find solutions.
The decision to cancel board exams will pose a challenge to the Education department for enrolling students who plan to pursue diploma engineering or ITI studies after Class X, said a official.
The committee will look into this and other issues and submit their findings to the state government in a few days,
