Kaziranga has become the first in the country to have been equipped with satellite phones.
Kaziranga National Park is situated in the state of Assam. It is surrounded by the Brahmaputra in the north Karbi anglong in the south and river Diphu flows through it.
Kaziranga National Park was established in 1908 as a reserve forest and it becomes a wildlife sanctuary in 1950 and it exists as National Park from 1974 Kaziranga got recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1985 and become Tiger Reserve in 2006.
