TheHaryana governmenthas sanctioned a total of Rs 9.40cr for all the districts to meet their expenditure on containment measures ofCovid-19, includingquarantine,sample collectionand screening, besides procurement of essential equipment. While Rs 7cr has been allocated for 14 districts, including Gurgaon, that are seeing the maximum Covid caseload, Rs 2cr will be for the remaining eight districts.
Haryanas financial commissioner (revenue and Disaster Management) Sanjeev Kaushal said the has been released from the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) and given to the deputy commissioners of the 22 districts.
The government claims that the fund has been released on the caseload of the districts Some 14 districts have got the maximum budgetary allocation of Rs 7 crore.
