Govt committed to conserve biodiversity

Chhattisgarh Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar said Chhattisgarh is rich in and steps are being taken by the government for its conservation and promotion.

He was addressing a function to mark the International Biodiversity Day. It was organized by the Chhattisgarh State Biodiversity Board at Aranya Bhawan, Nava Raipur.

The Minister laid special emphasis on the need to start a public awareness campaign for conservation and promotion of biodiversity.
