Govt commited to generate jobs in rural areas: Baghel

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday said the is working to develop better EMPLOYMENT opportunities in rural areas.

He was addressing a Bhent Mulaqat Abhiyan (public interaction) in village Kashigarh in the Jaijaipur assembly constituency in the newly formed Sakti district.

He said the government’s aim is to put Money in the pockets of the people. Involving Women and youth through self-help groups are ensuring employment opportunities. More livelihood-oriented activities will be added, he said.

The Rural Industrial Park (RIPA) will open more avenues of livelihood in villages, he said. At present, two parks are being built in each block. A provision of Rs 600 crores has been made in the budget for this purpose, he added.
