The state Education department has decided to integrateGandhian Darshan(principles) in the form of content and activities in the School Curriculum Framework (SCF).
, including Sustainable Development, self-reliance, moral values, communal harmony etc will be included in textbooks and part of activities from classe I to XII the next year. The Gandhian model is in sync with New Education Policy which envisages the holistic development of students body, mind and spirit.
