Former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Konijeti Rosaiah (89) passed away in Hyderabad.
According to reports, family members took the veteran leader to a private hospital after seeing him in an unconscious state but the doctors declared him brought dead.
He held several key portfolios including finance, transport, energy in the cabinets headed by Kotla Vijayabhaskhara Reddy, Channa Reddy and YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
Although, he handled the state administration without any trouble, the political turmoil following the movement prompted Rosaiah to quit to the CMs post. He was subsequently made as governor of Tamil Nadu.
