In a bid to make theHazaribag Lakeone of the most attractive tourist destinations inJharkhand, Hazaribag deputy commissioner (DC) Nancy Sahay has taken a slew of measures. A total of Rs 1 crore has been released from the District Mineral Trust Fund (DMFT) for developing the lake, she stated.
Besides, deputy development commissioner-cum-municipal commissioner Prerna Dixit has allotted an additional Rs 4 crore for development projects at the site. The Hazaribag has purchased a boat worth over Rs 2 crore to clean the water bodies. An open air amphitheatre at the trijunction of the Hazaribag Lake and selfie points have been constructed.
