First waterbird census on in Bihar

The first-ever count of waterbirds in the wetland areas is being conducted inBiharfrom February 16 to 26. The wetlands being surveyed include Kabar Lake in Begusarai (which was declared a Ramsar Site in November 2020),Kusheshwar Asthanin Darbhanga,Goga Hillin Katihar, Sarotar Lake in East Chamaparan and Nagi Nakti dam in Jamui.
