The technology was first implemented by Fr George Quadros in Chinchinim, who fertilised fields using nano urea by spraying micro droplets of the fertiliser on paddy using an agri drone.
The Centre presently offers financial assistance of 40% of the basic cost of the drone and its attachments, or Rs 4 lakhwhichever is lessunder the Cooperative Society of Farmers, Farmers Producer Organizations (FPOs) and Rural Entrepreneurs Scheme
