A group of industrialists have come together to hold Chettinadu Thiruvizha 2023, an exhibition cum sales event to popularize culture, food and tradition of chettiyar community in the city.
There will be a range of chettinad cuisine — both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, exhibits of wood carvings, live demo on manufacturing Athangudi tiles and plaster made up of lime and white egg widely used in chettinad bungalows in the past and cloth weaving. There will be a display of various games of yesteryears.
