Stalin also announced a 75.95-crore Kuruvai Nel Sagupadi Thoguppu Thittam (kuruvai crop cultivation scheme). As per the scheme, farmers will be given fertilisers and farm materials at subsidised prices.
As many as 23.54 lakh farmers have benefited in two years through the integrated Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture-development”>AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT schemes across the state,”Stalinsaid.
He said 1.5 lakh farmers were given free agriculture electricity in a short period. “This year, the has allotted 90 crore for canal desilting works, and the works will be completed soon,” he said.
