India remained ranked 10th in the index. India has maintained its position as one of the G20‘s top performers.

The CCPI is an impartial monitoring tool that has taken the lead in delivering information on the Paris Agreement’s implementation phase.

Since 2005, it has analyzed the performance of countries in terms of climate protection.
The index assesses 60 countries and the European Union, which account for around 90% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

It divides countries into four categories, each with 14 indicators.
