Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that today I am going to take a historic decision for the entire state from the land of Pandhana. No poor in the State will stay homeless. Every poor family should have a piece of land for housing. Residential land will be given by the State Government to every poor family of the State to live in a suitable place. Chouhan said this at the dedication programme of 103 newly constructed Anganwadi buildings and nutrition gardens at Pandhana in Khandwa district.

Under the Jan Kalyan and Suraj Campaign Chouhan felicitated the girls of the state with scholarships and finacial assistance to the Women at Pandhana in Khandwa District. He distributed Rs 21 crore Scholarship to 75,961 girls under Ladli Laxmi Yojana and Rs 5 crore maternity assistance to 25,000 pregnant and lactating mothers under Pradhan Mantri Matra Vandana Yojana. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also dedicated newly constructed buildings of 103 Anganwadi centers in 32 districts and 10,000 Nutrition gardens (Poshan Vatika) in 52 districts in the state level programme.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also distributed nutrition rights notifications to the mothers of children who have come under normal nutrition category from Malnutrition category in 22 districts. Forest Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, Khandwa district in-charge and Culture and Tourism Minister Sushri Usha Thakur, MLA, public representatives and a large number of beneficiaries were present.
