Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Ladli Bahna Yojana is not a ritual but it heralds social revolution in Madhya Pradesh. Earlier Ladli Laxmi Yojana was started. Now the Ladli Bahna scheme has been started for the sisters.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Women should live with self-respect, atrocities will not be allowed on the land of the state. To make women strong, Ladli Bahna Sena will be formed in every village. Sisters will be involved in this, who will work for the safety of women. He said that the homeless would be given land to live on. The tribal class also has the right on water, forests and land. They have been given powers under the PESA rules.

Chief Minister Chouhan attended Mukhya Mantri Bhu Adhikar (Chief Minister Residential Land Rights) patra distribution and Women’s Conference at Betul Police Ground on Monday. CM Chouhan said that Maa Tapti Corridor will be built in Multai. Its complete outline will be prepared. He also announced to name institutions after revolutionaries. The Chief Minister dedicated and performed bhoomi-pujan of development works worth more than Rs. 680 crore.
