Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday said that Chhattisgarh is witnessing a reverse migration with people returning to villages from urban areas as the government has done many new innovations for rural areas and embraced pro-farmer policies.

The Chief Minister was speaking at a Public Policy Summit programme held in New Delhi where he shared his vision and thoughts along with the plans and policies of Chhattisgarh.

The Chief Minister said that innovations of Chhattisgarh have become examples in the country. He said arrangements have been made for input assistance under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana so that farmers can get the right price.

Under the Godhan Nyay Yojana, by purchasing cow dung and cow urine from farmers, Fertilizers and pesticides are being made from them. Gauthans are being constructed in every village and they are being upgraded as rural industrial parks.
