Chhattisgarh’s forest policy is the main attraction in the third edition of ‘London Design Exhibition’ being held from June 1 to 27. This exhibition is being organized at Somerset House in the heart of London. The Chhattisgarh government is one of the sponsors of the India Pavilion.

Chief Director Nisha Methui Ghosh selected Chhattisgarh’s forest policy for its multi-dimensional design and vision. The policy focuses on promoting and supporting commercial plantation for timber to meet industrial, furniture, firewood industries. The forest policy will help increase the forest area and to prevent Climate issues, ground water level, drought and floods.
