Chhattisgarhchief minister Bhupesh Baghel said that maximum number of citizens should be included in theCooperatives Movementforfarmers. Various cooperative activities are being conducted in the state in larger interest of farmers. State government is making consistent efforts to benefit maximum number of people through cooperatives.

Fertilizers, seeds are distributed to the farmers from . Now Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojna, Godhan Nyay Yojana,Minor Forest Produce Procurement etc. have also become the part of cooperative movement. Chhattisgarh is becoming a model state for farmer-friendly schemes, added Baghel.

New Cooperative Societies have been constituted for the convenience of farmers. He informed that the number of committees in the state has increased from 1,300 to 2,058. Farmers loans were waived
