Chhattisgarh Higher Education Minister Umesh Patel called for completing the preparations for the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) evaluation of colleges on a mission mode.

The evaluation reflects broader thinking and quality in higher Education.

Addressing officers of the Higher Education Department, college principals, professors and non-TEACHING staff, Patel said all the colleges of the state should be graded by 2022, an official Communication said.

The Higher Education department has constituted a three-tier monitoring team at the Directorate, University and District level. Of the 170 qualified colleges in the state, 25 have submitted the Self Study Report (SSR).
