Chhattisgarh has won 11 National Panchayat Awards 2021 in various categories for the three-tier Panchayat announced by the Panchayati Raj Ministry in the Indian government.

Raipur won four Awards, Surguja two, and one each award went to the Kondagaon district panchayat as well as the districts of Gariyaband, Kabirdham, Balod and Bijapur.

Under the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Panchayat Sashaktikaran Puraskar (DDUPSP), Kondagaon District Panchayat won in General category. Gariyaband (Gariyaband district) and Tilda (Raipur district) won in Intermediate/Block level.

Three villages of the state won under general category — Sargawa (Ambikapur) and Riri (Lundra) in Surguja district and Mahud (Balod district).

The Gram Panchayat Development Plan Award (GPDPA) has been given to Baihar (Arang) in Raipur district while the Child Friendly Gram Panchayat Award (CFGPA) award went to Nawagaon village of Abhanpur in Raipur district.
