He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of a Legal Awareness Training Camp cum Workshop organized by the Chhattisgarh State Commission for Women at the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium near the Science College, Raipur.
The government is working economically and educationally to prevent human trafficking. Due to awareness of Police officers, there was a major decline in human trafficking.
But this is not enough as human trafficking should not happen at all, he said.
Baghel launched a souvenir of the Women’s Commission and the mobile app Chhattisgarh State Women Commission for online complaints. He also administered oath to all people to make women safe and empowered.
He said the workshop will help in improving the efficiency of the people who are discharging their duties on various subjects related to women.
The workshop focuses on human trafficking, cyber crime and sexual harassment at work place.
