Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya said that the Central and have been exploring better medical practices for the treatment of cancer.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), 90 cancer treatment hospitals with modern medical care have been set up across the country.
Besides this, a cancer treatment hospital has also been set up in Jhajjar district of the state, the Governor said while addressing the annual conference of Innovation in Oncology of the Society“>Indian Society of Oncology at Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad.
Dattatraya said that apart from Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana in the country, better medical facilities are also being provided to the people under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY). Haryana Government is also excelling in the field of medicine and Education, he said.
