RajasthanChief Minister AshokGehloton Friday said that the state now has the fourth highestactive Covid-19 casesbutoxygensupply is not adequate.

He said the situation is “extremely fragile” as there are also constraints in lifting 100 metric tonnes (MT) of allocated Oxygen from Burnpur andKalinganagarin the East and “this quota has not been adequately utilised by us despite best efforts”.

“Rajasthan has fourth highest active cases at 2.11 lac, which is 5.72% of the total active cases of the country. The present oxygen allocation is 435 MT.

Industries in Rajasthan told to use polyurethane to curb noise pollution, given 1 year

RajasthanState Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) has directed industries to use polyurethane (PU), which has been recognised as a widely used compound for noise and vibration control due to its Sound reducing properties.

With the rapidly growing Industrial Sector in the state and usage of increasing heavy machinery, there is added thrust on noise level, which has to be controlled in a scientific manner.

According to RSPCB, increasing ambient noise levels in public places from various sources is often due to industrial activity, construction activity, Generator sets, loud speakers, public address systems, music systems, vehicular horns and other mechanical devices which have deleterious effects on human Health.

The noise producing and generating sources in case of the industries is covered in the purview of the State Board.

Rajasthan to introduce law to make CCTVs must in private institutes, business hubs: Minister

Parliamentary affairs ministerShanti Dhariwal told the assembly that the will introduce a law that will make it mandatory for private institutions and commercial establishments in the state to install CCTV cameras and connect the feed to the Abhay Command and Control centre.

Dhariwal said NCRB figures point out that UP ranked No. 1 in cases of violent crimes. He also said between 2017 and 2018, over 30% of complainants had to move to the court to file FIRs, however, the figure was reduced to a mere 16.7% in 2021.

Builders urge Rajasthan govt for tax incentives to boost industry

Developers have urged the to reduce stamp duty and abolish surcharge in the budget to revive fortunes of real estate sector. At present, 30% surcharge is imposed on stamp duty, including swachh cess of 10%.
After first lockdown, both consumers and real estate Industry faced a setback as stamp duty was increased to 6% from 5%. Also, with 1% registration fee and 30% other taxes, the total stamp duty had gone up to 8.8%.

The state government had earlier announced to reduce stamp duty on housing units in multi-storey buildings from 6% to 4% until March 31, 2022. The benefits are provided to buyers purchasing flat worth up to Rs 50 lakh.

On the birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, chief ministerAshok Gehloton Sunday virtually unveiled the newly installed statue ofMahatma Jyotiba Phuleand virtual release of Jahota RAILWAY overbridge (ROB), Sitapura ROB, Bambala bridge widening work and Civil Lines ROB, Ramnivas Bagh.

A new statue of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule has been established in a new place by replacing it from Bais Godam Circle. The height of the installed statue is about 93 feet and weighs 1,050 kg and is made from Ashtadhatu. This statue is installed on a pedestal of 7 feet with railing and chain link, planting of bollards etc.

In 2013, under the first phase, underground parking for 915 equivalent cars was constructed by the Jaipur Development Authority to solve the problem of parking in the Walled City. Rajasthan gets pledges for Rs 1L crore investment at Ahmedabad event

The Rajasthan government attracted commitments of over Rs 1 lakh crore at an investors meet held in Ahmedabad.

The neighbouring state signed memorandums of understanding (MoU) worth Rs 41,590 crore and letters of intent (LoIs) for Rs 64,110 crore at its Investors Connect Programme, an investment roadshow held in the run up to the Invest Rajasthan 2022 summit, which is scheduled to be held on January 24 and 25 in Jaipur.
