Govt hackathon to make gaushalas self-reliant

In a bid to enable gaushalas to become prosperous by earning from waste like cow dung and cow urine,Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Boardis conducting a hackathon named Self-reliantGau-Shala-WasteTo Wealth.

In this hackathon, online suggestions are being taken from students, people and organisations associated with cow-rearing and management regarding maximum income from cow-waste. Rs one lakh will be given as first prize and second prize of Rs 50,000 rupees will be given on best suggestions.

The State Government is also mulling a scheme to purchase cow dung from farmers. The plan is to make PROM fertilizer with cow dung. A state government team visitedChhattisgarhearlier this year to study the model of buying cow dung in the bordering state. The MP model would be slightly different.

Govt to start free treatment scheme for Covid patients

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a new scheme is being implemented for free treatment of corona patients in the state. Under this, the poor and common people of the state, including even the middle class, will be able to get free treatment of corona in the contracted private hospitals.

Chouhan said that a special package will be given by the to private hospitals under Ayushman Bharat Yojana for the implementation of the scheme. The government will empanel private hospitals for treatment of covid.

So far, 2.42 crore cards have been made under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in the state, under which 88 percent of the Population has been covered. All of them will be able to get free treatment of corona in government-contracted hospitals. There are currently 328 private hospitals are empanelled under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in which 23,946 beds are available. On May 5, the state government empanelled 68 private hospitals of the state under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana for the next 3 months.

The government has decided that under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, if a family member has an Ayushman card, then other members of the family shall also be able to get free treatment. On being admitted to the hospital for treatment of Covid, the collector will arrange for Ayushman card to be made.

The government has increased the rates of Ayushman Bharat package by 40 percent so that private hospitals can treat Covid well under this scheme. These rates include room rent, food, checkups, consultation fee, paramedical fee etc.

The state government will give Rs 5000 as diagnostic advanced to every person who is receiving treatment under the scheme. Under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Rs 5,000 is given to each eligible family.

CM said that India has a tradition of Atithi Devo Bhavaah throughout the year where guests are treated with utmost respect and honour. Taking this tradition forward, a new chapter is being written in Khajuraho, Bundelkhand and all regions of Madhya Pradesh for the development of tourism. He said that this sacred land is also known for various names like Ratnagrabha Vasundhara, Annapurna Vasundhara and now Tiger State, Leopard State and for the conservation of vultures. There are immense possibilities of tourism here.

Chouhan said that Khajuraho will be established as an ideal center of tourism. For this, the experience of the people working in the tourism sector will be utilized. Along with this, work will be done to ensure that Khajuraho Dance Festival meets international standards.

Chouhan informed that the Chhatrasal Convention Center, built at a cost of Rs 51.43 crore under Swadesh-Darshan scheme, is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities due to the efforts of the central and state governments.

The Chief Minister said that Khajuraho has been chosen as one of the 19 Iconic Cities of India. This is an evidence of how rich Bundelkhands ancient heritage is. Chouhan said that tourism will also get a boost in Home Stay, Gram Stay scheme. He told that even people living in palaces want to stay in slums for mental, spiritual peace and new experiences. Chouhan said that Khajuraho is proof enough of not only art, culture but also of , spirituality and how can a person lead a perfect and happy life.

Indores Green Bond received public response

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the public has appreciated the green issued by the Indore Municipal Corporation while carrying out financial innovation to reduce the cost of electricity. The water of Narmada ji comes in Indore from Jalud in Khargone.

Municipal Corporation Indore had issued green bonds worth Rs 244 crore for setting up a 60 Megawatt solar power plant in Khargone.

Madhya Pradesh: Cow-care funds to be collected from rural households

The back-to-back incidents in gaushalas in Bhopal and Indore in a month indicate that cows remain a poll issue in the state, but when it comes to its protection, there seems to be a gap between intent and implementation.

The authorities, however, say everything is in order. MP Gaupalan and Promotion Boardworking committee chairman Swami AkhileshwaranandGiricalled them isolated incidents and said they may occur due to carelessness in a cowshed or death due to old age. Efforts are made at every level for cow protection, he said.

There are around 1,625 cowsheds in the state while the governments target is 3,000. Around 1,000 gaushalas are run bygrampanchayats and the rest by NGOs Some 2.5 lakh cows are kept in gaushalas and cow sanctuaries in the state while the number of stray cows is around 5 lakhs.

Centre to grant Rs 150 crore for scrapping govt vehicles

The central government will give a grant of Rs 150 crore for scrapping government vehicles in Madhya Pradesh. This grant will be given on scrapping government vehicles which are 15 years old or more running in departments-offices, bodies, undertakings, three-tier panchayats.

According to the condition of the central government, if the state government issues an order to scrap vehicles older than 15 years, then Rs 75 crore will be released immediately in the first phase, while the remaining Rs 75 crore will be given on scrapping the vehicle within the time limit.

It is time to change the scenario and fate of the state. Team Madhya Pradesh should work continuously for the development and progress of the state without wasting a moment. Madhya Pradesh will make its best contribution in building a glorious, magnificent India. Chouhan was reviewing the implementation of the instructions given in the departmental reviews held from January 3 to 11, 2022.

The Chief Minister said that building an Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh is our topmost priority. From the Union Budget presented by the Government of India, each department should prepare a practical action plan for the activities in which the can take advantage. By studying the provisions made in the Union Budget for housing, urban Infrastructure, cottage, small and medium enterprises, industrial development, construction of roads, Jal Jeevan Mission, maximum support should be obtained for the state.

Chouhan said that the mechanism of 22 products prescribed in Horticulture cultivation should be decided with the officials and producers of different districts. There is need to plan a complete strategy for quality improvement, packaging, Marketing and branding of horticulture products and ensure their implementation in a holistic manner. Beekeeping should be encouraged in those districts where floriculture or flower crops are more. Chouhan said that special arrangements should be made for training of gardeners in the state with a view to ensure availability of skilled persons for horticulture, poly houses, nurseries, natural farming etc. In this direction, a strategy should be made by linking agricultural universities.

Property demand at a record high in 2021

Despite battling pandemic, property sales in Indore touched a record high in the calendar year 2021 clocking a revenue of Rs 1,620 crore led by sales of residential properties and plots.

Breaking all previous records, Home buyers pushed property sales to a new high in the calendar year 2021. Sales were led by demand from user customers for residential properties.

During January-December 2021, revenue from sales of property in Indore was Rs 1,620 crore, up 42 per cent from the previous calendar year. Last year in 2020, revenue from property sales were Rs 1,140 crore, according to the official data.

CREDAI expects the property market to continue to grow in double digits in the coming year, bolstered by demand for residential properties. In the financial year 2020/21 that ended on March 31, a total of 1,07,000 properties were registered clocking revenues of Rs 1,325 crore.

UNDP has partnered with AISECT to support the Green Initiatives of the Government of India, under which the possibilities of Green Jobs for a Sustainable Future will be worked out.

The Indian economy has been badly affected due to Covid pandemic. Keeping this in mind, a Green Recovery Action Plan is being prepared in which nature-based jobs and livelihoods will be promoted. Abhishek Gupta, National Head, AISECT Project, said that under this project, green jobs and skills will be identified which will be necessary for the green transport sector.

In this, an action plan will be prepared keeping Women in mind especially. In its initial pilot project, 3000 people will be trained in which 60 percent will be women. Out of this, 2000 will be encouraged for eco- along with providing jobs in the relevant field.

Chief Minister to distribute the benefits of Tantya Mama Economic Welfare Scheme

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that various government schemes like providing Scholarship, assistance in studies and career counselling are being implemented for the youths to move ahead in life.

Many youths have changed their lives by taking advantage of these schemes. These youths should share their experiences with the students in government programmes.

This will provide inspiration and guidance to the students of the state. Conducting public welfare schemes on the martyrdom day of Jannayak Krantisurya Tantya Mama and providing help to people living in difficult circumstances to change their lives would be a true tribute to him.

It was informed that programmes have been organised at Patalpani, Bhawarkua and Nehru Stadium in Indore on the occasion of the martyrdom day of Jannayak Tantya Mama. Chief Minister Chouhan will offer prayers at the Tantya Mama temple located at Patalpani and garland the statue there and address the gathering after planting trees. CM Chouhan will also address the meeting after unveiling the Tantya Mama statue at Bhawarkua.

Chief Minister Chouhan will also interact with the beneficiaries of Tantya Mama Economic Welfare Scheme after distributing benefits to them in the programme to be held at Nehru Stadium. Beneficiaries of Dhar, Khargone, Barwani, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Dewas and Ratlam, along with Indore, will participate in the programme.
