Unique initiative, boot camp for youth selected in CM Youth Scheme

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has included youth power in Saptarishi in the budget and described the Amritkal generation as an important role in the progress of the country, while Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken innovative initiatives for the development of youth by turning PMs vision into action. In the new scheme launched by Chouhan, where educated youth from across the state will be taught focus skills on the concept of finishing school, they will also be given an opportunity to understand the actual projects going on at the ground level.

They will also get a chance to learn with the main start-ups and get work experience with Howard, UNICEF, UNDP, ISB, American Indian Foundation.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has adopted the method of direct conversation with the youth while sidelining the traditional pattern of stage, speech, garlands and welcome during the programmes in which the youth are present. He is going to repeat this tradition again in the youth intern programme to be held in the capital Bhopal.

New National Livestock Mission Scheme

The Cabinet decided to implement the new National Mission scheme of the Government of India in the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying in the state.

The objective of the scheme is mainly cattle breed development, EMPLOYMENT generation, increasing the productivity of animals, bringing research to the field level and Entrepreneurship development. Including the above activities in the National Livestock Mission, three sub-missions have been formed.

The first is the Sub-Mission on Breed Development of Livestock and Poultry, the second is the Chari-Chara (Fodder) Development Sub-Mission and the third is the Innovation and Extension Sub-Mission. With the implementation of National Livestock Mission, the breed of animals in the state will improve. The productivity of animals will increase. New technology will be developed and reach at the the grassroots level. This will increase the income of livestock farmers.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that there is sufficient availability of Urea, DAP, NPK and single super phosphate fertilizer in the State. Rakes are also being sent continuously by the Government of India. Fertilizer will be made available to all the farmers as per the requirement.

Chouhan said that it should be ensured that maximum number of PEX and private retailer points remain operational in the district. It should be ensured that Fertilizers are delivered every month at the retailer points as per the sale of the previous year. Fertilizers should be provided to farmers through societies, so that the double lock of Markfed does not get crowded. All sales should be made through POS. Chouhan was reviewing the fertilizer arrangement in the state for Rabi 2021-22 in Mantralaya.

The Chief Minister expressed displeasure over the mismanagement in distribution of fertilizers in Damoh, Chhatarpur, Guna, Bina. Chouhan said that we are in constant touch with the Center. The state is getting enough rakes of fertilizers.

Chouhan said that the district collectors should be in live contact with the farmers at every level and assure them that there is no shortage of manure. Manure will be available to everyone as per requirement. Chouhan also took information from the collectors of Sagar, Shivpuri and Agar-Malwa regarding the availability and distribution system of fertilizers.

It was informed in the meeting that, Urea, DAP, NPK and SSP have been made available as per the Average requirement of the month of November. NPK and SSP have recorded more sales in October 2021 as compared to October 2020.

M1xchange plans to strengthen MSMEs

Indias leading TReDS Platform M1xchange plans to strengthen more than 47 lakhs of MSMEs in Maharashtra through Trade Receivable Discounting System (TReDS) primarily focusing on automobile, Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture and textile and chemical sectors.

The platform intends to offer early liquidity within 24 hours through its online bidding platform to Micro, Small and Medium enterprises at a competitive rate in the state and offers a digital customer experience to MSMEs supported by a convenient and end-to-end digital process. This is a highly effective and efficient solution for the credit gap for MSMEs in India

The RBI-approved TReDS platform M1xchange has signed MOU with multiple state governments. The support from the Govt. helps MSMEs operating in these regions to get easy access to WORKING CAPITAL through M1xchange TReDS.M1xchange has also signed MOU with the Ministry of MSME for Udyam portal, MSMEs will benefit from a two-way exchange of information between Udyam portal and M1xchange. All Udyam registered MSMEs will be able to onboard on M1xchange with an easy convenient process enabling them to leverage the full force of TReDS and access liquidity at the lowest possible cost in the country.

BOB has given loans worth Rs 850 crore to small and medium enterprises in MP-Chhattisgarh

Public sector Bank of Baroda (BOB) has given loans worth Rs 850 crore to small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and has set a target of Rs 2,000 crore for loans to this sector by the end of the current financial year.

Rs 850 crore given to MSMEs. Of the loans given, 47 per cent have been given to Madhya Pradesh and 53 per cent to Chhattisgarh.

Chhattisgarh has more big groups in many sectors like steel industries.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that implementation of projects of Narmada basin has to be ensured with the concept of resolution to develop with Narmada water. What other activities can be taken up to raise additional funds for the projects will have to be considered.

Chouhan was addressing the meeting of the Board of Directors of Narmada Basin Projects Company Limited. In the meeting, discussions were held regarding the projects, management and financial targets being run in the Narmada Basin Project.

Village lights and pumps will run with solar energy under Surya Shakti drive

Surya Shakti Abhiyan has been launched in Madhya Pradesh for supply of electricity from to make villages self-reliant. Madhya Pradesh is the first state to launch such a unique campaign in the country.

This is an important step towards fulfilling the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the country self-reliant in the field of solar energy. Solar electricity will be used in village street lights, tap-water supply, offices and other works while promoting solar energy in village panchayats.

Under the Jal-Jeevan Mission, the target is to provide one crore household water connections in rural areas, which were only 15 lakh two years ago.

With this, the expenditure on electricity of village Panchayats, which was about 450 crores, is likely to increase to 2 thousand crores. With the help of solar energy, the expenditure of about Rs. 2000 crore on electricity bills in future in the village panchayats of the state can be reduced. This amount can be used for other development works of the village. Along with this, the benefit of Carbon Credit will also be available to the panchayats.

For fast and swift resolution of family disputes online e-mediation platform was started from July 10, 2021 through the organization “SAMA” in association with the Police Women’s Crime Branch, Legal Volunteers and URJA Mahila Help Desk.

The effort was made by successful by Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority and District Legal Services Authority in association with the Police Women‘s Crime Branch, Legal Volunteers and URJA Mahila Help Desk.

Initially, it was started in three districts of the state, Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur as a pilot project for one month.

A detailed report of the action taken by the organization “SAMA” was presented during this period. According to which out of the complaints received to Urja Mahila Help Desk and Dial-100 in three districts of Gwalior, Bhopal and Jabalpur, a total of 4215 complaints were sent for counseling.

Out of which 37.04 percent cases were resolved on the basis of mutual understanding. In which 215 out of 1062 cases are in Bhopal, 217 out of 1258 cases in Gwalior and 478 cases out of 1895 in Jabalpur.

The cases coming for counseling in the institution are being heard quickly and their resolution is being done through virtual medium. The counseling being done by the Legal Volunteers through the organization “SAMA” has yielded very positive results.

Now a proposal is being prepared to implement this system in the entire state and is being sent to the for approval. After the approval of the government, online e-mediation platforms will be started in all the districts of the state.

Madhya Pradesh will be made a logistics and warehousing hub. A well thought out policy will be formulated in this regard.

IMC becomes the countrys first urban body to earn EPR credit

Indore which is synonymous with cleanliness in the country has added another feather to its cap. Indore (IMC) has become the first urban body in the country to earn EPR credit. On this achievement, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today India is moving forward with new thinking and new approach. Along with Economic Development, it is also strengthening the ecological balance. As per the vision of Prime Minister Modi, efforts are being made to promote circular economy in Madhya Pradesh as well. The campaign of Indore Municipal Corporation to get rid of single use plastic and solid Waste Management efforts will inspire the entire state. Chief Minister Chouhan has congratulated all the residents of Indore, administrative officers and all the employees of the civic body on this achievement. The Chief Minister said that success of this effort of public participation is a matter of pride for the entire state.

After getting carbon credits, the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) has taken forward the concept of Waste to Wealth by becoming the first ULB in India to be registered on the EPR portal of the Central Pollution Control Board. Today IMC has become the first ULB in India to earn EPR credits. The achievement of earning EPR credits reflects the successful implementation of Plastic Waste Management Rules 2016 (PWM) and EPR policy by IMC. This innovation to earn EPR credits is another powerful step towards moving from linear economy to circular economy and Sustainable Development.
