MP Transco has succeeded in installing & energizing state’s first 50 MVAR capacity bus reactor at its 220 KV substation Pandhurna (Chhindwara). Madhya Pradesh’s Energy Minister Mr. Pradyuman Singh Tomar congratulated all the related personnel of MP Transco for this achievement and said that inter-state power transmission will be facilitated after the energization of this reactor established at a cost of about Rs 08 crore 67 lakh.

He told that for the first time in Madhya Pradesh, a reactor of 50 M VAR capacity has been energized on a 220 KV bus. With this, where grid discipline can be easily followed, inter-state power exchange from Maharashtra can be controlled through 220 KV V line between Padhunna and Kalameshwar substation of Maharashtra.

To save the Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company from paying possible penalty due to reactive power feed and to solve the problem of high voltage in the area, Sanjeev Srivastava, Superintending Engineer of MP Power Transmission Company, designed and developed this reactor, which was used for the first time in the state. Important efforts were made in preparing the tender process including technical parameters, due to which this innovation became possible.

Feedback (surveys) are also being taken for qualitative improvement in the districts’ established care centres and provide better Health facilities to the patients. In this, the utilization of beds, medical, medicines, food facilities, etc. is also being assessed. According to the feedback from the districts’ Covid Care Centre, it was found better in Harda, Indore, Katni, Agar-Malwa for providing medical facilities and better in providing food facility in Hoshangabad, Indore, Rajgarh, Seoni, and Dindori.

The Central Irrigation and Energy Bureau has selected the state of Madhya Pradesh as excellent state for the work done in the irrigation sector. Nomination was filed on the basis of successful implementation of Mohanpura and Kundalia project of Madhya Pradesh for Bureau CBIP Award. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took continuous decisions for the expansion of irrigation area and approved and implemented many irrigation schemes. Chouhan further said that remarkable achievement has been made in the field of agriculture in the state in which the expansion of Irrigation facilities has played an important role. With the increase in the area under irrigation, production has greatly increased.

Madhya Pradeshis first in the country in the production of wheat. Burhanpur district is considered to be a cash Cropping district. There is a need to encourage the cultivation of fruits, flowers and medicines here.

He further said that the country has been known for centuries in the world in the production of spices. Spices have been going from India to many countries of the world, in which the southern states have been ahead.

A decline in arrivals of soyabean by around 25 per cent in spot markets since the beginning of the new season and lower meal production as farmers held back supplies in anticipation of higher prices has dampened exports of soyabean meal.
The disparity in prices in the international market from rival countries has hit orders from traditional buyers dampening exports of soyabean meal.

Lower availability in the domestic market and high disparity in prices in the international market has affected export deals, exporters claiming an extremely sluggish response from buyers for Indian origin soyabean meal.

An exporter of soyabean meal from Indore wishing anonymity said, When prices are not competitive and so high, why would anyone place an order for an Indian meal. Other countries are offering at lower prices but we cannot afford to sell at those rates because local rates are very high.

In Madhya Pradesh, soyabean production was estimated at 52 lakh ton as against 41.7 lakh ton last year, as per SOPAs estimate. In India, soyabean output is pegged at 119 lakh ton, up 14 per cent from the previous year.

In spot markets soyabean arrivals since the beginning of the new oil year until January were recorded lower by 25 per cent to 48 lakh ton while production of meal declined by 40 per cent to around 22 lakh ton.

In the first phase of PM SVAnidhi Yojana, MP is at the top position in the country by disbursing loans worth Rs 498.77 crore to 5 lakh urban street-vendors. In the second phase of PM SVAnidhi Yojana, it is at the second place in the country by disbursing loan of Rs. 194.74 crore to 97508 urban street-vendors. In the third phase of the scheme, 1,726 urban street-vendors have been given interest-free loan of Rs 8.59 crore. Moreover, 2.26 lakh street-vendors have received cashback of Rs 3.15 crore by doing digital transactions.

The scheme is applicable for all such street-vendors who are vending in urban areas on and before March 24, 2020, and have certificate of vending/identity card issued by the .

PM Street Vendors Atma NirbharNidhi Yojana(PM SVAnidhi) was started from 2020 by the central government to provide WORKING CAPITAL loans of Rs 10,000, 20000 and 50,000 to street vendors, the most affected class in urban areas during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In the first phase of the scheme, an interest-free loan of Rs 10,000 was given. On repaying it on time, a loan of 20,000 and then 50,000 rupees was given.
