Gov has given a systematic form to the Kanya Vivah Yojana: CM

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana is our effort in the direction of making a daughter a boon and not a burden.

The started this scheme in the year 2006 with the aim to ensure that the marriage of the daughter should not be a burden to the family. Lakhs of daughters have been married in the last 16 years under the scheme. Marriage is considered a Sanskar in Indian culture. Rewaconodon indicus New Species

Researchers from the IIT Kharagpur, used scanning electron microscopy to find out about about 10 tooth samples gathered from Shahdol District, Madhya Pradesh.

The results confirmed that they had observed a new species, and they named it Rewaconodon indicus, indicating India, the united states it used to be discovered from.

In a first forMadhya Pradesh, GwaliorsJiwaji Universityhas bagged A++ accreditation of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Only 27 universities in the country have managed to secure NAAC A++ accreditation in its latest list.

As per the list issued by the NAAC, Naduhas the highest number of A++ NAAC accredited universities.

NAAC conducts assessment and accreditation of Higher Educational Institutions (HEI) such as colleges, universities or other recognised institutions to derive an understanding of the Quality Status of the institution.

Through the Green India Mission by the Forest Department, training will be provided to rural youth for skill up-gradation and employment opportunities will be made available to them. It has been decided to organize 14 such training workshops in the state. About 500 rural youths will be imparted training in various fields.

With the increase in the area under irrigation, production has greatly increased. Madhya Pradesh is first in the country in the production of wheat. Burhanpur district is considered to be a cash Cropping district. There is a need to encourage the cultivation of fruits, flowers and medicines here.

Governor will inaugurate the 48th Khajuraho dance festival

Governor Mangubhai Patel will inaugurate the 48th ‘Khajuraho Dance Festival-2022’ at world famous tourist destination Khajuraho in the Amrit Mahotsav being celebrated on the 75th anniversary of independence. Tourism, Culture and Spirituality Minister Usha Thakur, Micro, Small and Medium enterprises Minister Om Prakash Sakhlecha and MP Vishnu Dutt Sharma will also be present. Principal Secretary Culture and Tourism Sheo Shekhar Shukla informed that the 48th ‘Khajuraho Dance Festival’ will be held from February 20 to 26, 2022. Like last year, this year also it will be the glory of the temple courtyard. It will be an unmatched confluence of devotion of God and dance. Renowned artists of the country and the world will give their dance performances in the dance festival. National Kalidas Award for dance and Madhya Pradesh State Rupankar Kala Reward will also be presented at the ceremony.

In the ceremony, there will be major events like the event centred on cultural landscape of Indian dance-styles and the exhibition of art-travel focused on – Nepathya, the art exhibition of other countries of the world including India Art-Mart, dialogue of artists and art scholars- Kalavarta, exhibition focused on art contribution of senior painter Laxminarayan Bhavsar- Pranati, fair of indigenous knowledge and tradition Hunar and films centered on artists – Chalchitra.

Chouhan was reviewing the works of Panchayat and Rural Development Department in Mantralaya today. He also inaugurated a ‘Mobile App’ prepared by the department for garbage collection and transportation from village to village.

The Chief Minister said that excellent work is being done in the field of plastic waste disposal in the state. Arrangements have been made to collect plastic waste from village to village, from where the plastic will reach the waste collection centers and from there it will be sold. 28 plastic collection centers are being opened in the state, which will be operated by Women of self-help groups. Waste plastic is being used in the construction of about 9,000 kilometers of roads in the state.

This project is the first step towards realising the vision of the country’s former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s River Link Campaign to tackle drought and floods simultaneously. Along with approving the project, the Union Cabinet has also fixed the time for completion of the project by sanctioning an amount of 44 thousand 605 crores for the scheme on the basis of the prices of the year 2020-21.

This unique project, first of its kind in the country, will change the fate of lakhs of farmers and will now saturate the thirsty throats of the people of drought-affected Bundelkhand. About 12 lakh hectare dry land of both the states will get the benefit of Irrigation from this project. 9 districts of Madhya Pradesh namely Raisen, Vidisha, Sagar, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Tikamgarh, Shivpuri and Datia along with Banda, Mahoba, Jhansi and Lalitpur districts of Uttar Pradesh will get the benefit of drinking water besides irrigation.

Chouhan said that the project will become the lifeline of Bundelkhand. With this, 8 lakh 11 thousand hectares of unirrigated area will get the benefit of irrigation in 9 districts of Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh. About 42 lakh people will have easy availability of drinking water. The land of Bundelkhand is very fertile, which has been a victim of drought due to lack of water.

The economy of the State is not very good due to corona crisis that struck twice. Even if the Government has to borrow, I will not let there be lack of funds for development works. The water of Bargi canal will reach this area by the year 2023. He said that wheat worth `300 crore and paddy worth `150 crore have been purchased from the farmers of Raigaon area on support price.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing a public meeting after launching the Jan Darshan programme from Shivrajpur village of Raigaon assembly constituency in Satna district. Chief Minister Chouhan, while participating in the Jan Darshan programme in 10 villages including Shivrajpur, interacted with the general public and also inquired about the implementation of the development schemes of the government.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that soon the construction of power sub-station will start in Shivrajpur. The Chief Minister announced for providing Bargi canal’s water, construction of roads from Duari village to Rara, construction of building at a cost of Rs 18 crore for the opening of CM Rise Higher Secondary School in Shivrajpur, restoration of two ponds, Chitra and Mudhara of the village and expansion and construction of Haat-bazaar in Shivrajpur by 2023. Chouhan gave instructions to the departmental officers to complete the work of drinking water scheme under construction from Jal Jeevan Mission in Shivrajpur by March 31, 2022.

Chouhan said that many schemes are being run for the poor. Free food grains will be given to every poor till the month of November. Anna Utsav must be celebrated on the 7th of every month during which food grains must be distributed to the poor. Under the Ayushman treatment scheme, every poor gets free treatment facility up to Rs 5 lakh every year in the identified hospitals. Camps should be organized to prepare Ayushman cards for the remaining poor. Every year 8 lakh houses are being built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. By 2023, every homeless person and those who have kuccha houses will get pucca housing facility in the state. In the function, the Chief Minister distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Sambal Yojana.
