Madhya Pradesh to build world-class hockey stadium: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan

After the state of the art international cricket stadium inIndore, it is now the turn of eitherBhopalorGwaliorto get a world-class hockey stadium. Chief ministerShivraj Singh Chouhanannounced this during the felicitation of the Indian womens hockey team at Minto Hall.

Chouhan and Sports ministerYashodhara Raje Scindiapresented Rs 31 lakh each to the players of the Indian Women hockey team, who made the country proud by making it to the semifinals of the Olympics in the recently concludedTokyo Olympics.

CM said, continuous work is being done for the promotion of sports in Madhya Pradesh. The initiative to remove the financial problems of women hockey players took place in 2010 in Madhya Pradesh. After that, the hockey academy was strengthened. Today it is one of the best hockey academies in the country, he added.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT),Indorehas set up a Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) aimed at creating an ecosystem to support development and commercialization of technologies facilitating modelling, simulation and visualization of Cyber Physical Systems (CPS).

The hub named as Driving Innovation through Simulation Hub for Technologies in Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (DRISHTI CPS), plans to lead in skill enhancement, technology development, product commercialization and joint initiations with partners.

PPP shot in the arm for better govt healthcare facilities in tier 2 & 3 cities

After distributing 3.56 crore Ayushman Bharat Insurance cards via a text message, MP Health department top official said healthcare facilities in Tier II and Tier III cities will be scaled up and invited the private healthcare sector to pitch in.

PPP-mode is on offer for private healthcare providers to provide their expertise in government hospitals, said MP health commissioner, Dr Sudam Khade. He was speaking at the Association of Healthcare Providers-MP and MP Nursing homes association joint conclave on meeting challenges of health care in the 21st century. It had Indias leading experts on quality, sustainability, patient safety, AI and ML in medicine and consumer laws, said AHPI-MP advisor, DrAnoopHajela.
According to government estimates, around 80% of residents in MP continue to rely on medical care through government run hospitals. Diagnostics and pathology Services along with telemedicine have already been outsourced by the health department. Now there is a more direct avenue being explored. A more direct PARTNERSHIP with private healthcare providers.

Ayushman Bharat scheme has opened up increased dependency on private sector hospitals. Also, now there is a shift of focus for the health department. Cabinet approves land for forensic science varsity

The council of ministers approved a plot of 6.082 hectare at village Barkheda Bondar in Huzur tehsil,Bhopalfor the establishment of a campus of the National Forensic Science University, Gandhinagar.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated the Kala Panchang published by the Culture Department at his residence. Tourism, Culture and Spirituality Minister Usha Thakur and Principal Secretary Culture and Public Relations Sheo Shekhar Shukla were also present on the occasion. Minister Usha Thakur presented a book titled Bundelkhand ke Bitti Chitra (Mural Paintings of Bundelkhand) to Chief Minister Chouhan.

The Kala Panchang has been published with the hope that the country will be free from the crisis of Corona epidemic and cultural activities will be organised as before. If the activities cannot be conducted physically then efforts will be made to organise the events online.

The Kala Panchang for the year 2021-22 portrays the Madhya Pradesh tribes attachment to the nature. The cover page of the Panchang has a painting of Karma dance by Kalabai Shyam. Along with this, the Panchang is adorned with the depictions of Bhuri Bai, Nanku Siya Shyam, Lado Bai, Durgabai, Narmada Prasad Tekam and Ram Singh.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that along with PM Mitra Park and Medical Device Park, the initiative to start Global Skill Park in Madhya Pradesh is helpful in providing employment to the youth. The work of preparing skilled youth and connecting them with employment will be done continuously in the state. To make the youth strength of the society, first of all it is necessary to make them skilful. Investment is coming continuously in Madhya Pradesh and youth are getting employment due to this investment. Utmost attention is being paid to skill upgradation of the youth.

Chouhan said that Prime Minister Modi remains concerned about providing EMPLOYMENT to the youth. Along with this, he is also focused on skill upgradation. Today 640 youth got employment in the mega job fair. Chief Minister Chouhan said that employment is very important. On one hand there are employers who need skilled persons and on the other hand youth want employment.

Sex ratio among tribals better than general population: Ram Nath Kovind

PresidentRam Nath Kovindon Sunday said people can learn a lot fromtribal communitieswhere there was no gender-based discrimination and as a result, the sex ratio among them was better than the general Population.
Addressing a state-level ‘Janjatiya Sammelan (tribal meet)’ inDamohinMadhya Pradesh, Kovind said intribal societies, groups are given importance over individuals and cooperation is encouraged instead of competition.

He also said that tribal communities are treasure troves of traditional knowledge.

Low arrival reduces dal mills output by 20% in Madhya Pradesh

A sharp jump in pulses prices and reduced arrivals in the spot markets of Madhya Pradesh has slowed down processing at dal mills reducing production capacity by over 20 per cent.

Daily arrivals of pulses like tur, urad and chana have reduced in the spot markets amid apprehension of lower production lifting pulses prices. Lower arrival of pulses has affected availability of raw material for dal mills exploring outstation markets for purchasing pulses.

Dal millers said, pulses processed in MP are about 1.5-2 per cent more expensive than neighbouring states due to transportation and mandi cess of 1.70 per cent levied by the Madhya Pradesh government.

Madhya Pradesh is a major centre for dal mills with around 700 dal mills in the state of which 160 in Indore.

CM Rise School a new social revolution in the education sector

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that CM Rise Yojana is a new social revolution in the field of Education. With this scheme, government schools are being made well-equipped and resourceful. New buildings are being built. A system of imparting quality education has been started by arranging qualified and skilled, hardworking and dedicated teachers.

All necessary facilities including smart class, library, laboratory, Sports ground will be made available in CM Rise schools. Government schools will be made better than private schools. The Chief Minister said that there is no dearth of ability and talent in the teachers and children of government schools. They just need to be given opportunities and facilities. The Chief Minister said that the Shikshakarmi culture has been abolished in the state. Teachers are being given more respect and facilities.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a plan was prepared after consultation and discussion with academicians and scholars of the country and abroad to realize the vision of CM Rise School. It was decided that the school building would not only be equipped with all facilities, but would also have all the necessary facilities like good furniture, laboratory, library, smart class, sports ground, sporting goods etc. Through smart class, students will be able to get knowledge from qualified teachers of the country and abroad.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the State Government has taken a historic decision and decided that such houses in which more than one family lives (family means husband, wife and children) and if they do not have any plot of land to live in then the Government will provide them free plots. This will also open the way for the construction of houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the benefits of other schemes will also be available.

Chouhan said that the one who has taken birth on this earth has the right that at least a piece of land should be in his name to live in, on which he could build a house and live with his family. This is a historic decision in favor of the poor. In a message issued to the media at his residence, Chouhan said that under the Mukhyamantri Awasiya Bhu-adhikar Yojna, the has issued guidelines for allotment of plots on Abadi (populated) land in rural areas.

The Chief Minister said that this scheme has been implemented with the objective of ensuring that every family has the right to a dignified life with minimum basic necessities. On getting the residential plot, it will help in getting loans from government schemes and banks. Mukhyamantri Awasiya Bhu-adhikar Yojna has been started by the State Government to provide residential plots to the eligible families on the Abadi land in each Gram Panchayat in the rural areas.

In the scheme, the District Collector has been empowered with respect to the availability of Abadi land. The maximum area of ??the plot for allotment will be 60 square meters. Family means husband and wife and their unmarried sons and daughters. Only those applicant families will be eligible to apply who are residents of the respective village. For getting residential plot, application has to be submitted online through SAARA portal.
