2.26 lakh vaccination doses take Madhya Pradeshs tally past 1.04 crore

In all 2.26 lakh doses were administered during the day acrossMadhya Pradesh, according to the Health department data.

Most doses were administered inIndorewhere 34,376 people were inoculated. In Bhopal, 19,533 got thejab, followed byJabalpur(15,989),Gwalior(10,466) and Ujjain which reported 9,366 people getting administered thevaccineto protect against Covid-19.

Around 1,04,06,711 doses have been administered in MP, since vaccination began on January 16. 17,71,997 have received both the doses of the vaccine.

Women in Madhya Pradesh have become empowered

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Women are being continuously empowered in Madhya Pradesh. The Ladli Lakshmis whom I had fed, today are working to run the government. Today one such daughter Bharti is the President of Harda . The State Government implemented 50 percent reservation for women in panchayats, due to which today my sisters are ruling from village panchayat to district panchayat.

Chouhan attended the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Mahasammelan at Harda today. He dedicated and performed bhoomi-pujan of development works worth Rs 102 crore. Along with this, he distributed benefits to the beneficiaries under various government schemes. Chouhan said that Late Hariprasad Paliwal had donated his personal land of 22 acres for Eklavya Vidyalaya. The residential building of the school will be named after Late Paliwal.

The Chief Minister said that Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna has been started for the poor and middle class women of the state. All my eligible sisters will be benefited by this scheme. He said that brother-sister is a relation of affection, soul and love. Respect and welfare of sisters and daughters has been my top priority. I often keep humming this song Phoolon ka taron ka sabka kehna hai, ek hazaron me meri behna hai. The happiness of my sisters is my happiness. The life of the sisters should be happy, this will give meaning to my being the Chief Minister.

Tourist footfall in state increased by 33% in 2022

Tourists footfall inMadhya Pradeshin the year 2022 surged 33 per cent on a year-on-year basis as development of new tourist circuits, adventure activities and improved air connectivity lured travellers from other Indian states and internationally.
In the year 2022, over 3.4 crore tourists including domestic and foreign visited Madhya Pradesh, up by 33 per cent from the previous year, according to the data from the Ministry of Tourism. Religious, heritage and wildlife circuits were the most visited destinations in the state.Vivek Shrotriya, additional managing director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board said, There has been an exponential Growth in tourist visits in Madhya Pradesh recently. Branding MP, nationally and internationally has helped us in getting the tourist influx while we have revamped the whole travel experience by adding festivals, adventure activities and rural tourism.

The board has identified 100 villages in MP to develop homestays by engaging locals to host tourists with various experiential insights including village walk, tribal art display, fishing, local music and dance evenings, farming and among others. Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board also plans to develop tent cities, water and air Sports, carnivals and other recreational activities at Kuno in Sheopur district, Orchha, Ater in Bhind district, Tamia in Chindawara district, Chanderi, Bargi dam in Jabalpur on the lines of Hanuwantiya, Mandu andGandhi Sagar.

Suraj Policy-2023 approved for the welfare of homeless

The State Cabinet gave Shradhya Malviy was given appointment on compassionate grounds despite her being non-eligible. She is the married daughter of RS Rathore, Additional Director, Economics and Statistics, who had died on April 19, 2021 due to Corona infection. The Cabinet considered it a special case in the sequence of the decision of the , Bench, Indore, on humanitarian grounds.

In the provisions of the order related to compassionate appointment issued by the General Administration Department on September 29, 2014, a policy based decision was also taken by the Council of Ministers that both sons and daughters have equal rights for compassionate appointment, even if the daughters are married. In this regard, necessary amendments should be made in the General Administration Department policy.

A budget provision of Rs 150 crore has been made by the Council of Ministers in the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department for the year 2022-23 under the Chief Ministers Animal Husbandry Development Scheme. The Chief Ministers Milching Cattle Supply Programme was included in the Animal Husbandry Development Scheme to implement the pilot project to connect the special backward tribes of the state, especially the Baiga tribe, with animal husbandry and to provide milching cattle to the beneficiaries.

The objective of the programme is to provide new EMPLOYMENT opportunities to the special backward tribes of the state by linking them with animal husbandry. After the implementation of the programme, special backward tribes of the state will get new employment opportunities. Along with this, complete nutritional food will be received in the form of milk.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that he is proud and happy to inform that Madhya Pradesh has realized the dream and resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This year Madhya Pradesh has received total 38 awards in the Swachchhata Sarvekshan 2021 Award. Last year, the State had received 27 awards.

The State received 21 Awards in the main program held in New Delhi on Saturday. Chouhan saluted the residents of Indore and congratulated them. It may be noted that Indore ranks first in the country in cleanliness for the fifth time in a row.

Chouhan said that Indore is also on the first place in the Safai Mitra Suraksha Challenge. Bhopal and Dewas have also received the award. Apart from Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain, Pachmarhi Camp, Hoshangabad, Dewas and Barwaha have also received awards in Cleanliness Survey. In Garbage Free City category, Ujjain, Gwalior, Dewas, Singrauli, Mundi, Burhanpur, Rajgarh, Dhar and capital Bhopal apart from Indore have received awards. Madhya Pradesh has been made proud with cleanliness awards being bagged by its cities. Chouhan congratulated all the residents, public representatives and local administration.

Madhya Pradesh bags award for best wildlife & eco-tourism

Madhya Pradesh has been awarded as the Best Wildlife & Eco Tourism state in 7th edition of International Tourism Expo and Conclave held in Delhi on Friday night.

The Awards were presented by Sheo Shekhar Shukla , the principal secretary of the department of tourism, who was also the chief guest of the function.

Madhya Pradesh also bagged award for the best state for tourism Marketing campaign.

“Madhya Pradesh is blessed with rich wildlife and the forest cover spreads over 77,700 sq km. It has numerous wildlife hotspots with 11 national parks and 24 wildlife sanctuaries.

For active promotion of the state tourism,the state has organised various promotional events like Orchha festival, Mandu Utsav and Jal Mahotsav among others. Campaigns like ‘Buffer Me Safar’ and ‘Monsoon Magic’ also attracted people towards MP.

Soyabean meal exports fall by 40% in a month

Soyabean meal exports in April plummeted to 2 lakh tonne, down 39 per cent from last month amid a drop in orders fromSouth EastAsian countries, according to a trade body.

Export of soyabean meal from India in April stood at 2 lakh tonne as against 3.27 lakh tonne in March. Though, exports in April were up on a year-on-year basis, according toSoybean Processors Association of India(SOPA).

The trade body said exports in April to Bangladesh was 61, 230 MT and Vietnam 42,837 MT, the two leading buyers of Indian origin soyabean meal.

Soyabean production inMadhya Pradesh, the leading soyabean producing state in the country, was estimated to jump to 54 lakh tonne.

Plots worth Rs 120 cr to be distributed to 10k families

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that January 4 will be written in golden letters for the welfare of the poor. Plots will be provided free of cost to such poor brothers and sisters who do not have a place to live. Under the Mukhya Mantri Bhu-Awasiya Adhikar Yojana, plots worth Rs. 120 crore will be distributed to 10 thousand 500 families of Tikamgarh district on January 4.

Chouhan said this in his address before the meeting of the Council of Ministers. The meeting of the Council of Ministers at the Mantralaya under the chairmanship of Chouhan started with recitation of Vande-Mataram.

Chouhan told that during his stay in Tikamgarh, the people there had told the problem that 50-60 people are forced to live in each house, there is no place to stay at Home. The reason for this problem is that the families have grown but the place of residence has remained the same. Due to POVERTY, extended families do not even have plots or land. As a result, they cannot even get the benefit of the house construction scheme.

Chouhan said that this is a wonderful scheme in itself. Under the scheme, the lease of the land will be in the name of husband and wife. They will not have to pay any premium, they will get the land completely free of cost and along with the plot they will also get the benefits of other schemes. Chouhan said that plots will be made available to such poor brothers and sisters in rural areas in every district.
