MP Transco gets the best technological pavilion award

In the India International Science Festival 2023 held in Bhopal last day, Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MP Transco) was adjudged the best among other technical stalls displayed in the festival. For this MP Transco was awarded with the Best Technological Pavilion award. Energy Minister of Madhya Pradesh Pradyuman Singh Tomar has congratulated the officers and employees on this achievement.

In this mega Science and Technology exhibition, various innovations made by MP Transco in its system as per Madhya Pradesh government policy ,were displayed through models. In innovation, model of survey through drone for maintenance of Extra high tension transmission lines, special insulated dress used for bare hand maintenance of Extra high tension transmission lines,, model of Extra high voltage substation was the center of special attraction. The students also saw and understood the stall of MP Transco with interest and also took information about the stalls from the officers present. Apart from this, many subject experts showed interest in the stall and appreciated MP Transco for keeping the transmission system better by innovation.

Khajuraho Dance Festival MP

The Madhya Pradesh Kala Parishad organizes the Khajuraho Dance Festival, a one-week classical dance festival held annually beside the Khajuraho temples located within the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. This festival takes place from 20th to 26th February.

Highlights

With performances by a number of the highest practitioners within the field, this festival celebrates the range of Indian classical dance genres like Bharathanatyam, , Kuchipudi, Odissi, Kathakali, and Manipuri. Recently, modern Indian dance has been included.

In an open auditorium, generally ahead of the Chitragupta Temple, devoted to Surya, i.e., the Sun God, and therefore the Vishvanatha Temple, which is devoted to Lord Shiva, the dances are performed.

Khajuraho Dance Festival 2022

This year’s Khajuraho Dance Festival is the 48th edition of this festival. The Madhya Pradesh State Rupankar Kala Award and National Kalidas Award for dance will be presented to varied artists during this festival.

This year’s festival will feature a variety of significant events which can specialize in the cultural landscape of the varied genres of Indian dance.

Madhya Pradeshs revenue target is Rs 38,000 crore for 2021-22

In the financial year 2021-22, the government has set a revenue target of Rs 38,000 crore. In the financial year 2020-21, Rs 32,764 crore was received fromGST, VAT and professional tax.

Finance ministerJagdish Devdahas said that taxpayers have an important contribution in making India a 5 trillion economy and realising the vision of Atma-nirbhar MP. He said that due to better system and collected taxes, successful implementation of public welfare schemes of the government is possible.Devdahad a having pre-budget discussions with taxpayers, tax experts and representatives of Industry and business sector in the process of preparing thebudgetfor the year 2022-23 earlier this week.

The FM said that despite the Covid pandemic, with the cooperation of all, a revenue of Rs 32,764 crore was received from GST, VAT and professional tax in the financial year 2020-21. In the current financial year 2021-22, the target is to get revenue of Rs 38,082 crore. Everyone’s cooperation in achieving this goal will also be important and commendable.He lauded the taxpayers for paying taxes on time and being sensitive towards the development of the state.

Children will get help in higher education: Chief Minister

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that colours of happiness will be filled in the lives of children who lost their parents due to Covid or other reasons.

While the implemented “Mukhya Mantri Covid-19 Bal Seva Yojna” to provide financial assistance every month to such children below the age of 18 years, many children were not eligible even after getting the benefit of this scheme. Mukhya Mantri Bal Ashirwad Yojana has been started for the care and protection of such children.

The Chief Minister said that Mukhya Mantri Bal Ashirwad Yojana has been prepared for such sons and daughters, which will be useful for the higher Education and career of these children. The scheme will boost the self-confidence of the children. He said that Sports and cultural competitions will also be held for children. The best performing children will be awarded with prizes. Those who perform well in studies will also be rewarded.

Chouhan gave instructions to the Additional Chief Secretary, Woman and Child Development Department, Ashok Shah in this regard. Chouhan said that instructions have been given to all the collectors of the state regarding the implementation of Mukhya Mantri Bal Ashirwad Yojna.

Madhya Pradesh govt notifies compassionate job scheme for kin of deceased staff

The stategovernmenthas implemented the Mukhya Mantri Covid-19 Anukampa Niyukti Yojana (CM Covid-19compassionate appointmentscheme). Orders to this effect were issued here on Friday and the scheme will cover all employees regular, permanent, work-charged and contingent-paid, daily wagers, ad-hoc, contract workers or those on honorarium.

As per the details, on the death of the personnel from Covid infection, an eligible member of their family will be given compassionate appointment in the same type of EMPLOYMENT in which the deceased employee was employed as per the provisions laid down in the scheme.

Cabinet approves Rs 1807.57 cr for 45 CM Rise schools

The State Cabinet approved Rs 1807 crore 57 lakh for 45 CM Rise schools. In the first phase of the CM Rise Yojana, 275 schools are being developed by the School Education Department in the state. Out of these, DPRs were prepared for the construction of 45 schools and presented before the Project Testing Committee on December 7, 2022.

In this sequence of departmental proposals, decision was taken for the construction of 45 well-equipped schools on the recommendation of the Project Testing Committee. A total of 9 thousand 200 CM Rise schools are to be constructed in the state. Its in-principle approval from the Council of Ministers has been issued in July, 2021. Out of this, 370 schools are being constructed in the first phase, of which 275 schools are being constructed under the Education Department and the remaining 95 schools under the Tribal Affairs Department. Earlier, approval has already been given by the Cabinet for construction of 73 schools costing Rs 2 thousand 660 crore.

The Cabinet took the decision to increase 433 new P.G. medical colleges in Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Rewa. Administrative approval has been given for Rs 192 crore 24 lakh for Medical College Indore, Rs 62 crore 82 lakh for Medical College Gwalior, Rs 100 crore 66 lakh for Medical College Jabalpur and Rs 82 crore 68 lakh for Medical College Rewa that is a total amount of Rs 438 crore and 40 lakhs. With the increase of PG seats for postgraduate courses in various departments of Medical College, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Rewa, additional number of subject-specialist doctors will be available to the state every year.

The Cabinet approved the plan to provide coaching for national competitive examinations to tribal students from prestigious institutions at the divisional level and approved finance of Rs 30 crores 54 lakh 71 thousand for offline coaching every year and online coaching pilot project for the next 4 years. In this scheme, 1600 students will be benefited from offline coaching from the year 2022-23 to 2023-24 (according to the 2-year course) for offline coaching. According to the announcement of the Chief Minister, a total of 250 students are targeted to be benefited in 4 years that is 25 students from 10 special schools for online coaching from Class 9 to 12.

In the plan to encourage consensus and unopposed election in the election of Panchayat representatives, the Council of Ministers has so far given Rs 1 lakh to the Gram Panchayat whose Sarpanch was elected unopposed, Rs 5 lakh was being given to the Gram Panchayat whose Sarpanch and all Panchs were elected unopposed and such gram panchayats whose sarpanch and all panchs are Women were given Rs 10 lakh. While revising the scheme, now new categories and prize have been fixed. Rs 5 lakh to such Gram Panchayat whose Sarpanch has been elected unopposed. Rs 7 lakhs for the post of Sarpanch, if the current election and the previous election are held continuously unopposed. Gram Panchayats whose sarpanch and all panchs were elected unopposed to be given Rs 7 lakh. A decision was taken to give Rs 12 lakh to a Gram Panchayat whose sarpanch and all panchs elected are women, and Rs 15 lakh if ??women are elected unopposed to all the posts of sarpanch and panch in the panchayat. A provision of Rs 55 crore 60 lakh has been made in the budget for the financial year 2022-23 for conferring these Awards.

MP gets Most Improved Big State in Agriculture award

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was presented the “Most Improved Big State in Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture” award on behalf of India Today Group at the “India Today State of the States Conclave-2021” by Senior Associate Editor of India Today Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh Rahul Noronha at the residence office today.

It is noteworthy that every year the states are rewarded in two categories in the agriculture sector by India Today. These categories are Overall Best and Most Improved State in Agriculture. Madhya Pradesh has been given this award for its efforts towards adopting latest technologies for increasing income from agriculture and making mandi (market) facilities accessible and reachable to the farmers.

Madhya Pradesh has received this award for the fourth time in a row in the Most Improved Big State in Agriculture.

It is worth mentioning that for increasing agricultural production in Madhya Pradesh, along with various incentive schemes, procurement of agricultural produce has been ensured at the minimum support price. Besides, special efforts are being made on value addition while working towards increasing the income of the farmers from agriculture. The Services of experts have been taken in order to provide necessary advice for value addition in respect of seven major crops. The procurement process has also been simplified in the state through the app. Grants are being made available to the farmers in the state for the latest tools of agriculture.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the festival of Deepawali may bring happiness, prosperity, riddhi-siddhi in the lives of the people of the state. The Chief Minister said that development activities and public welfare schemes are being implemented in a better way in the state. We have to do our best to bring about a change in the standard of living of the people of the state. The state has registered a Growth rate of 19.76 percent. Gross domestic product has increased by 200 percent. The state’s economy is worth 11 lakh 50 thousand crores and the is more than 48 thousand crores. The implementation of development activities is going on at a rapid pace in the state.

In the Mukhya Mantri Jan Seva Abhiyan, such 68 lakh eligible beneficiaries have been added who have not yet got the benefit of these schemes.

Mukhyamantri Ration Aapke Dwar Yojana

The Madhya Pradesh cabinet had a meeting on 19 October and decided to implement Mukhya Mantri Ration Aapke Dwar scheme.

Highlights:

Mukhya Mantri Ration Aapke Dwar Scheme is executed to benefit the poor tribal families.

It will be fulfilled in tribal development blocks of state, excluding those blocks which fall under districts that are undergoing bypolls.

The scheme will benefit tribal families of around 7511 villages in 74 development blocks of 16 districts.

The ration will be distributed from headquarters village and by transporting it through vehicles across other villages attached to the shop.

The collector will fix the days of each month for distribution in the village.

On Average, 220 to 440 quintals of ration will be distributed by a vehicle for 22 to 25 days in a month.

Around 472 vehicles will be used for food transportation.

There will be an annual expense of Rs 24,000 per month on one metric ton vehicle, while Rs 31,000 per month will be on a 2 metric ton vehicle so that it will be a total of Rs 14.07 crore of expenditure.

The quality of the food-grain loaded in the vehicle will also be tested.

Three new cases of Covid-19 infection were diagnosed in the state capital on Monday, according to state health bulletin. Eight new infections were reported across MP. Neighbouring districts are also witnessing an upward trend in infection.

Still low, but Covid-19 test numbers indicatesBhopalis one of ten districts where cases are on the rise. Positivity rate has hit 0.05% in Bhopal for tests reported to Icmr. Balaghat, Bhopal and Sidhi are at 0.05% of positivity rate, whereas nearby Raisen, Rajgarh and Vidisha have a higher test positivity rate. Niwari, Jabalpur and Ujjain are among the 10 districts with highest Covid-19 positively rate in Madhya Pradesh.

Outpatient Services has been dealing with patients diabetes, hypertension, stroke (Paralysis), acute heart diseases and others. Total allopathic outpatient attendance in the urban areas has been pegged at 66,000 in the provisional Health department HMIS report while Ayush OPD is around 30,000 as per provisional reporting from Bhopal.
