20% plots to be reserved for SC/ST category to set-up industry

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that a huge and grand temple of Sant Ravidas would be built at Badtuma near Sagar at a cost of Rs. 100 crore. Couplets and teachings of Sant Ravidas will be engraved on the walls of the temple. The Personality and work of Sant Ravidas will also be displayed in the temple premises.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the sisters and daughters are highly respected in the state. No distinction is made between men and Women. After Ladli Laxmi Yojana for daughters, now Ladli Bahna Yojana has been launched for sisters, in which one thousand rupees will be given to poor and middle class sisters. Food, Education, medicine, house, EMPLOYMENT are being ensured for everyone in the state. There is no caste distinction in the state, no one is big or small, everyone is equal, everyone has equal opportunity and everyone is respected equally.

Chouhan said that under the Mukhya Mantri Teerth-Darshan Yojana, a pilgrimage train will go from Madhya Pradesh to Banaras, the birthplace of Sant Ravidas.

He announced that 20 percent of the land would be reserved for SC and ST youth to set-up industries. In the MSME cluster policy, a cluster will be given to the SC industrialists. Along with this, land will be given to SC category for setting-up allotted petrol pumps.

Nodal officers will be appointed in the Industries Department to guide the SC category. Relaxation will also be given in the store purchase rule in the service and trading center. Chouhan said that to ensure the safety of sanitation workers, now the manholes will be cleaned with only machines.

Bhopal to have world-class sports science centre

After successfully running the Sports science centre atTatya Tope Stadium, the sports department has decided to open a new sports science centre with all modern and world-class facilities. The centre will be developed at the new sports complex for which the cabinet has allotted a 50- acre land inNathu Berkheda.

Sports ministerYashodhara Raje Scindiawanted to have a sports science centre with better facilities. Scindia said, “These games need intense focus. Several times, players, despite being talented, fail to hit the target owing to various reasons. After witnessing similar situations in other games, I felt that we should have a bigger sports science centre. The new centre will have all the facilities that one can think of.

Sources said the centre will have a high equipped lab with modern equipment like Bertec instrumented treadmill, activio real-time heart monitoring, 3D analysis, high performance gym and such others.

Craftsmen of MP honoured with Shilp Guru and National Award

Mohammad Yusuf Khatri of Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh has been awarded the Shilp Guru Award for the year 2017 for the conservation of the legacy of Bagh Print handicraft.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Union Textiles Minister Piyush Goyal honoured him with Gold Medal and Tamra Patra at Vigyan Bhawan Delhi. Shilp Guru Awards and National Awards for the years 2017, 2018 and 2019 were presented at the ceremony.

Mohammad Naseer of Dhar district was honoured with the year 2017 National Award for sari hand-block printing craft and Mubarik Khatri for hand block print on bamboo mats curtains and Late Pradeep Jharia and Pawan Kumar Jharia of Neemuch district for extinct Tarapur hand-block printing art.

The State Cabinet decided that Urja Saksharta Abhiyan would be launched in the State to make all the citizens energy literate. Through the campaign, the citizens of the state will be given information about energy saving.

Efforts will be made to make all the citizens of the state energy literate according to a time bound action plan under the Urja Saksharta Abhiyan. Taking a step towards tackling the effects of Global Warming and climate change, the State Government is starting an Urja Saksharta Abhiyan. Through this unique campaign, the students of schools and colleges and the general public will be given information about energy and energy saving. The Cabinet has approved the decision of the state government to give guarantee to Project development by the state government – one of the major factors for the competitiveness and minimum tariff received in the tender issued for more than 10 times the total capacity of 1500 MW of Agar-Shajapur-Neemuch Solar Park. Due to this the lowest solar tariff has been achieved in the country. The guarantee of the state government has resulted in several benefits. The project development got loans at low interest rates due to payment security.

RENEWABLE ENERGY capacity of about 5100 MW capacity has been established in the state till September 2021. It has solar power capacity of 2432 MW and wind power capacity of 2444 MW. About 21 percent of the total power supply available in Madhya Pradesh comes from renewable energy.

National New Education Policy has been implemented in all the universities and colleges in the state. Under this, students can study according to their convenience and interest. After the first and second rounds of the admission process, maximum students have chosen the subject of Yoga. The second favorite subject was organic farming and the third was personality development. All these subjects are governed under vocational curriculum.

After two rounds of admission process by the Higher Education Department, 86,495 students have chosen subject, 80 thousand 104 chose Organic Farming, Personality development 77,833, information technology 28,201, digital Marketing 22,511 and about 17,879 students have opted tourism subject under vocational course. Apart from this, about 17,514 students have selected the subject of e-accounting and Taxation with GST and about 14,627 students chose medical diagnostics.

As an innovation in the National Education Policy, students have been given the freedom to choose optional subjects. If the student wants, he can choose a subject from any other faculty other than his own faculty. Students can initially choose 27 subjects from Arts Faculty, 20 from Science , Five from Commerce and subjects like NCC, NSS and Physical Education among others.

The main objective of the new education policy is quality education. Internship / Apprenticeship / Field Project and Community Engagement and Service have been made mandatory for the first year students for the all-round development of the students. First year students will also get marks for the work done by them.

Proposed pharma cluster near Indore eyes Rs 400 crore investment

A dedicated cluster for homegrowndrugmanufacturers may attract an of over Rs 400 crore from around 40 industries, claimedMadhya PradeshSmall Scale Drug Manufacturers Association.

The Micro, Small and Medium enterprises (MSME) department has proposed five clusters, namely furniture, toys, confectionery, pharmaceuticals and Food Processing in theIndoreregion. The pharmaceutical cluster is expected to come in close proximity to the Indore-Ujjain road.

The association has demanded 100 acres of land from the State Government to set up the cluster.

Madhya Pradesh: Rs 300-crore boost for Agar-Malwa industrial belt

The proposed industrial belt inAgar-Malwais attracting close to Rs300 crore investments from mostly micro and smallscale industries of the region.

The Madhya Pradesh industrial development Corporation (MPIDC),Indore, has taken possession of around 29.7 hectares for developing the multi-sector industrial belt. The proposed belt is expected to house around 200 micro and small units from engineering, packaging, automobile and other sectors.

As per the department, the industrial belt in Agar-Malwa is expected to give EMPLOYMENT to close to 2,000-2,500 people of the area. The industry department has held talks with industries and associations of the region to understand their requirements and facilities anticipated from the proposed industrial belt. A senior official from MPIDC, Indore said, Over 150 applications have come to us from various industries who are interested in taking up land in theAgar-Malwa industrial belt. This greatly helps us in understanding the interest level of industries though as per the rule, we will invite expressions of interest from industries.

According to the industry department, the phase one development of the Agar-Malwa industrial belt will cost Rs32 crore.

GIS based property tax system keeps tabs on evasion

Geographic Information System (GIS) based property tax system is fast catching up with of India, helping in generating high revenues and keep a tab on tax thefts, said, RaviRanjan Guru, deputy director General, All India Institute of Local Self- Government (AIILSG).
AIILSG is consulting the government of India and urban local bodies on adopting practices for good local Governance and technology adoption.

GIS based Property system is being adopted in the country very fast across urban bodies and this is helping governments to earn high revenues. GIS based systems are used in making the master plans of cities. So technology is being adapted by civic bodies but the pace and awareness needs to be more.

AIILSG in collaboration with theMadhya Pradeshgovernment is training officials and elected public representatives on urban governance. In India, AIILSG is working with 150 urban local bodies directly and indirectly.

Pithampur industrial area of Dhar district provided jobs to the 75000 employees working in around 1000 micro small medium enterprises (MSME) industries which is located in 5 sectors of Pithampur industrial area Dhar district during the second wave of lockdown.

The MSME is very important sector which supports the supply of essential goods like food item, medicines, edible oil, soaps, pharmaceuticals EMPLOYMENT. It supports GDP, generates revenue in form of GST tax.

According to sources 30 percent of GDP is supported by MSME and also contributes to 30 percent of Indias export.
