CM unveils projects worth Rs 753.92 Cr in Sahebganj

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today inaugurated the Measles-Rubella special vaccination campaign from Bhognadih, the holy land of martyrs Sido-Kanhu and connecting members with Pacs-Lamps under the newly formed Sido-Kanhu State Cooperative Union. On this occasion, he gifted 2,080 schemes to Sahibganj district and distributed assets among them to empower the beneficiaries. The CM also handed over the keys of four bike ambulances for remote and hilly areas of the district. In the programme organized on Sido Kanhu Jayanti, the CM said that the government is committed for the progress of the state and its people.

The CM said that now the voice, vision and schemes of the government are reaching every village. Earlier, plans used to be made in air-conditioned offices and ended there as well. But, after the formation of a separate Jharkhand state, our government has worked to change this practice which has been going on for the last two decades. Now by setting up camps in panchayats, an army of officers is reaching your doorstep with schemes and your problems are being solved.

Under the Sido-Kanho Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture and Forest Products Federation, the CM inaugurated the grand campaign to strengthen LAMPS-PACKS and add members to it. Countrys first iconic Olympics Garden inaugurated in Bokaro Steel City on the auspicious occasion of the 8th International Sports Day.

3,95,798 youths become voters in Jharkhand

The has released the updated data of voters of the State. According to this figure, the number of youth voters in the State is 3,95,798.

Electoral Roll revision work was started by the commission from the month of November. After the completion of the revision process, the commission has released the updated figures.

On the other hand the total number of voters is 24473937. The number of male voters is 12613219. At the same time, the number of Women voters is 11860442. There are 276 third gender voters in the State. The number of female voters in the age group of 18-19 years is 179901. At the same time, the male voters of the same age limit are 215889. The number of third gender voters in the age group of 18-19 years is eight.

The number of Divyang voters, after the revision, has increased to 34,841. Total disabled voters are 333766 in the state.

In this, there are 63182 visually impaired, speech or hearing disabled number 56204, locomotor disabled 168286 and 130309 voters of other disabilities.

Notably, the State was gearing up to hold Panchayat polls as the tenure of rural and urban PRI representatives had already expired and the State had devised an alternative plan to run the rural and urban civic bodies.

State to intensify leprosy elimination programme

Jharkhand: CM Hemant Soren’s cabinet approves floating solar panel in Getalsud reservoir

The state cabinet on Friday cleared the decks for the commissioning of the 100-MW floating solar panel grid in theGetalsud Damon the outskirts of Ranchi. When commissioned, it will be a one-of-its-kind solar power generation plant in the state.

The cabinet also approved the state energy departments proposal for a one-time settlement of the outstanding power bills of Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limiteds (JBVNL) domestic customers in rural areas. The approval of the proposal will now allow the rural users to pay their outstanding electricity bills in four monthly instalments. However, they will be exempted from paying the delayed payment surcharge (DPS).

20 schools to get air quality monitors

To educate children about airpollution, air quality monitors will be setup at 20 schools by SwitchON Foundation, a non-profit organization. On the occasion of Earth Day, the foundation announced the installation of real-time air quality monitors in 80 prominent schools and institutions in West Bengal,Jharkhand, and Odisha.

According to World Air Quality Report, 2021, India ranked fifth most polluted among 117 countries, regions and territories.

The non-profit organization’s team, along with experts and advisors, will instruct students on how to use the air quality data from these monitors and government monitors, prepare reports, raise awareness on their campus and in their community, and take positive action throughout the academic year. The monitors will report minute-by-minute variations in air quality and issue alerts if pollution levels increase.

Cultural Tourism to make a cocktail of culture, history, heritage of State

Under the tourism policy, it is planned to take along the rich heritage of Jharkhand in crafts and cuisine to promote sustainable livelihood and generate self-EMPLOYMENT through cultural tourism. The State’s rich tradition of handicrafts and Investment opportunities will be promoted in line with the Industries Department.

Regional cuisine will get a new dimension through the food festival. Jharkhand’s handicrafts will be displayed at tourism information centres, hotels, Airports, RAILWAY stations and other important public places. Efforts will be made to promote handicrafts and regional cuisine through various tourism exhibitions in and outside the State.

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren to launch three schemes on November 15

TheHemant Sorengovernment will launch three schemes and roll out three newly-drafted policies during the upcoming Statehood Day function in Ranchi’s Morhabadi Ground on November 15.

“Chief minister Hemant Soren will launch the CM Sarthi Yojana, Guruji Credit Card Yojana and Eklavya Skill Scheme at the Statehood Day function. He will also roll out the new Jharkhand Industrial Park & Logistics Policy, Electronic Vehicles Policy and the Jharkhand Ethanol Production Promotion Policy.”
CM Sarthi Yojana envisages free coaching classes for matriculation and intermediate students of schools run by the State Government to enable them to take part in national-level entrance undergraduate examinations such as IIT-JEE and NEET.

The Guruji Credit Card Scheme, designed along the lines of the scheme envisaged by its counterpart in West Bengal, will provide soft loans of up to Rs 10 lakh for state students who want to pursue higher studies. The amount of the scheme will be disbursed through banks with a fixed tenure for loan repayment. Only those students who are native to Jharkhand will be able to avail the scheme through a dedicated portal that will be launched later.

Likewise, the Eklavya Skill Scheme will be aimed at providing market-driven subsidised Skill development training to students.

In a move to provide employment to the youths of the State, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) ISM Dhanbad is preparing a new platform for lac farmers. Such blockchain technology is being developed where farmers and industry will come together on one platform.

Jharkhand is the largest producer of lac in the country. Jharkhand has a contribution of about 8293 tonnes about 54.6 percent in the production of about 16,352 tonnes of lac in India. Jharkhand’s Ranchi, Simdega, Khunti and Gumla are the largest lac producing districts across the Country.

The benefit of Nishakt Swavalamban Protsahan Yojana will be given to the handicapped of 05 years or more. There will be no age limit for those who are suffering from HIV/AIDS. The Deputy Commissioner said that people should benefit from the camp.
