Health scheme for all having income less than Rs 8L/annum

Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the Apki Adhikar, Apke Sarkar, Apke Dwar scheme has been a success so far helping Government reach to the last mile.

Addressing a North Chotanagpur divisional level program of the outreach campaign at Hazaribagh on Saturday, Chief Minister said that so far 2 lakh 50 thousand complaints have been registered under this scheme, out of which 2 lakh 20 thousand complaints have been promptly executed.

Hemant Soren announced that for the treatment of serious diseases in the state, the government would help in the treatment of every person whose income is less than 8 lakhs.

Mining companies have been told that 75 percent of the workers, ryots and displaced people have to be kept, then only mining will be allowed. The contract up to one crore is to be made available to the displaced. The government is soon going to set up a displacement commission. The appointment rules are being finalized.

Infamous for witchcraft killings,Jharkhandhas earned the disrepute of having the highest percentage of underage girls getting married, according to the latest demographic sample survey by theunion home ministry. The percentage of girls getting married before attaining majority is as high as 5.8 in Jharkhand, according to the survey brought out by the office of theRegistrar Generaland Census Commissioner, Ministry of Home Affairs.

In Jharkhand, child marriages accounted for 7.3 per cent of marriages in rural areas and three per cent in urban areas, it said.

TheSample Registration System(SRS) Statistical Report contains estimates of various demographic, fertility and mortality indicators based on the data collected through one of the largest demographic surveys in the world covering about 8.4 million sample Population.

The survey said that while 54.9 per cent of girls are married in West Bengal before attaining the age of 21 years, the figure for Jharkhand is 54.6 per cent as against the national Average of 29.5 per cent.

Meanwhile, as per theNational Crime Records Bureau(NCRB), 32 people were killed on allegations of practising witchcraft in Jharkhand in 2015, 27 in 2016, 19 in 2017, 18 in 2018, and 15 each in 2019 and 2020.

Ranchi to get pharma, food processing park

With the industries department all set to announce a new pharma policy to woo investors from across the country, decks have been cleared to set up a pharma and a Food Processing park atChanhoblock of Ranchi.

According to a press communique released by information and public relations department (IPRD), the new pharma policy is a part of initiative taken by chiefministerHemantSorenwho has announced that private players will be investing Rs 10,000 crore in the next three years.

According to plans, the government has reserved 55 plots for allocation to micro, small, medium and largescale pharma industries. Out of these 55 plots, 30 plots are reserved for the micro pharma , 14 plots for small units, 7 plots for medium units and 4 plots are reserved for largescale ones. The pharma park will be equipped with all the necessary Infrastructure, including an administrative building, a canteen, an utility centre, ETP, a road Network, Drainage System, bridges, streetlights among others.

Annapurna, the first time MP from Koderma has been made Minister of State for Education in the Modi Cabinet.

The outreach programme, named Jan Ashirwad Yatra, will have the 39 newly inducted Cabinet ministers cover 22 states, including 212 Parliamentary seats, and 265 districts in total.

PDS shops to give fruit trees: Jharkhand CMs initiative to increase green cover

Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren on Friday directed the deputy commissioners of all 24 districts in Jharkhand to ensure that ration card holders are given fruit-bearing saplings.

Ensure that at least two fruit-bearing saplings are given to all ration card beneficiaries during the distribution of ration. This will not only increase the income of the villagers (so that they can sell it when the Plants will bear fruits) but also increase green cover for the benefit of the Environment, Soren said while reviewing the progress of schemes of the rural development department in the state.

There are over 60 lakh families covered under National Act (NFSA) in Jharkhand who get rations from the Public Distribution System (PDS) shops every month at a subsidised rate.

According to the Forest Survey of India 2021 report, over 33 per cent of Jharkhand is covered by forest and trees.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren said there is ample scope for development of industries in Jharkhand.

The Government is constantly making efforts to provide facilities and giving concessions to investors to promote industrial and prepare a conducive Environment for industries, he said, while giving several instructions to the officers in this regard in a high-level review meeting of the Industries Department.

Soren said Jharkhand has great potential in agro-based industries, especially in the field of Food Processing. There is also a need to encourage investment here.

He said single window system should be implemented effectively here too, so that investors can be attracted to come here. The CM said Jharcraft is the identity of this State. Apart from the good quality of Jharcrafts products, its demand is also very high. But, accordingly, the market is not being available to Jharcraft.

Govt aims to set up 572 Vermicompost units in State

State Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture Minister Badal inaugurated the Godhan Nyaya Yojana in the auditorium of the Animal Husbandry Department. Addressing the progressive farmers and milk producers from different districts of the state, he said that we can make Jharkhand’s identity in the field of organic agriculture with the cow dung in the state. Today we are dependent on chemical Fertilizers, which leave a deep impact on our Health. He said that Godhan Nyaya Yojana is being started as a pilot project from five districts of the state. After reviewing the success of this project, we will plan to run it in the entire state, so all the cow herders are requested to move towards making the state an organic Jharkhand.

Badal said that the government is preparing to set up an agency and a centre so that more and more organic food items are used in the state, and our products are recognized as organic. We have made a budget provision of Rs 10 crores for vermicompost, if it is successful, then a plan of Rs 100 crores will also be made. Under this scheme, farmers of the state will be able to get vermicompost at Rs.8 per kg in their area only. Along with this, the government will take cow dung at Rs. 2 per kg from the cowherds and after processing it will make it available to the farmers in the form of vermicompost.

Badal said that for the first time, construction of Gomukti Dham has been started in the state along with work on Gaushala. So far 12 lakh farmers of the state have been given a benefit of Rs 3500 per farmer. Along with this, an amount of Rs 810 crore has been distributed among 9.38 lakh farmers as benefit of crop Insurance in lieu of damage caused by drought. For the welfare of farmers, we have demanded 9682 crores to the central government for drought relief. This amount will go directly to the farmers’ account. Our department has started many flagship schemes under the guidance of the Chief Minister. Godhan Nyay Yojana is also one of them, which will benefit about 10,000 farmers in the first phase.

The objective of this scheme is to reduce the dependence of farmers on chemical fertilizers and increase the income of farmers by preparing vermicompost using cow dung available in the state of Jharkhand. According to the economic survey of the year 2019, there are 12.57 million cattle in the state. As an estimate, 504 lakh tonnes of cow dung is emitted every year by the cattle.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren, on Wednesday, interacting with the MPs and MLAs of North Chhotanagpur Division through video conferencing here on Wednesday said that the Government is setting up oxygen banks in all districts and oxygen plants in Sadar Hospitals.

He said the Government is putting in all efforts to fill the gap of manpower in Health institutions with the help of available Resources.

The CM said the Government is serious about treatment of those infected or those who are found to have signs of infection in rural areas. In this connection, five lakh medicine kits are being provided to Anganwadi centers. Oximeters will also be available in Anganwadi centres, which people can take advantage of.

In this connection, the problems of people are being addressed through toll free numbers at the State level. Hospitals are well equipped with oxygenated beds, ventilators, ICUs and Oxygen cylinders. Oxygen cylinders are available in 24 hours emergency for hospitals through Sanjeevani vehicle. Through the Amrit Vahini App, information and booking of beds, online medical consultation and many other facilities have been provided.

At the same time, oxygenated beds are being provided to the infected through the Covid circuit. Apart from this, the process of setting up oxygen Plants is going on in all the Sadar hospitals. Besides, the government has also decided to set up an oxygen bank in all the districts. Soren said the Government is providing Insurance of 50 lakhs to all health workers including doctors, nurses working as front line workers. Apart from this, the government has stepped up efforts to pay the pending insurance amount for the health workers who have died due to corona.

States skywalk projects await cabinet approval

The state tourism departments plan to construct skywalks at five prominent tourist spots awaits cabinets approval now.

The tourist spots include Hundru, Jonha, Dassam falls in Ranchi, Patratu Dam in Ramgarh and the Netarhat Hills in Latehar district.

Efforts to commission the skywalks began early this year when the department invited private agencies for conducting a feasibility study for the projects.

Initially, the department hit hurdles as its tenders failed to evince interest among agencies. Two tenders failed to attract any bidders.

Hundru, Jonha and Dassam are three famous waterfalls around the state capital and attract thousands of tourists throughout the year. Likewise, Netarhat Hills draws thousands of tourists for its scenic beauty.

In the wake of the spike incorona positive cases, Health Minister Banna Gupta convened a meeting to discuss its prevention and treatment. A future action plan was discussed for prevention and treatment of coronavirus. The Minister gave necessary guidelines on various subjects including better arrangement of increasing testing capacity, increasing number of beds. The Minister said that the government is making every effort to protect people from corona infection and that the infected should get better medical facilities.

Gupta said that in view of Covid-19, the is continuously expanding medical facilities. There is an effort to improve food, sanitation and Health facilities for the patients.
