Modern land measurement system in Haryana soon: CM

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday said that a modern land measurement system would be adopted, which will replace the age-old chain (jarib) based measurement. This will bring more accuracy and reliability in land measurement and reduce the scope for disputes, he added.

Presiding over a meeting with senior officials regarding the SVAMITVA Yojana, he said that 300 new rovers will be purchased to complete the work related to large-scale mapping of every district and tehsil in a time-bound manner.

Khattar said that Sonipat and Karnal districts have been selected as pilot projects in the first phase and large-scale mapping will be completed on agricultural land and revenue land falling under areas outside the Lal Dore area of these districts. Apart from this, every property will also be linked with the Parivar Pehchan Patra and the work would be completed in these districts by April 15, 2023, he added.

Haryana in top 5 states in recycling, restoring discarded batteries

Despite being a small state in terms of area, Haryana has found its place in the top five states of the country for recycling, refurbishing and collection centres for used, discarded and overload batteries of all kinds.

According to information, Haryana has been ranked fourth with 58 such centres.
The state has an annual recycling and refurbishing capacity of 2,76,164 metric tonnes of battery waste. Three states which have done better than Haryana include neighbouringRajasthan, which tops the table with 121 centres. It is followed by 94 centres in Maharashtra, 61 in West Bengal and 56 centres in Madhya Pradesh.

Punjabhas 55 such centres, while Himachal has the lowest count of just 13 such units. AfterRajasthan, Haryana tops the region.

There are 44 recycling centres for batteries and 14 refurbishing centres. All these centres are functioning in Karnal, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Kurukshetra and Palwal districts.

Dushyant Chautala: Ensure villager-friendly land pool scheme in Haryana

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Tuesday advocated a land pooling under the Padma scheme, so that rural Population owning land get maximum benefit and EMPLOYMENT opportunities also get enhanced in villages.

These directions were given by the Deputy Chief Minister while presiding over the meeting of officers related to Padma scheme.

Dushyant said while taking forward the Centres Padma scheme, the Haryana Government was going to work on it expeditiously. He said about 50 acres would be picked in each block under land pooling to promote the MSMEs in the state.

These 15 districts belong to states like West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Tripura, Assam, and Jharkhand.

Asserting that it is essential to curb the practice of child marriage at all levels to achieve greater personal freedom and choice, the report points out that states like West Bengal, Bihar, and Tripura have the highest Percentage of Women married before 18 years at 41.6, 40.8 and 40.1, respectively.

The index covering 36 states and UTs and 707 districts made by the Institute for Competitiveness and Social Progress Imperative was submitted to the Economic Advisory Council- Prime Minister (EAC-PM) and released in the Capital.

The Index draws its analysis on early marriages from National Family Health Survey-5 (2019-21) as part of its assessment in one section of the report on the dimension of “personal freedom and choice” which takes into account performance of districts based on indicators related to Child Labour, kidnapping and abduction, early marriages, and family planning.

Haryana Government on Tuesday announced a rehabilitation scheme for the voters of the state residing in Faridabads Khori village, where the Supreme Court had refused to stay the demolition of around 10,000 illegally constructed houses. Under the scheme, the eligible residents will get EWS flats with facilities like electricity, water and toilets in Dabua Colony and Bapu Nagar area.

Giving details about the scheme, Commissioner, Faridabad , Garima Mittal said that the Khori slum of Faridabad is not environmentally Sound. Keeping in view this human aspect, a rehabilitation plan has been prepared for the residents of Khori area. A camp will be organized for the persons who want to join the rehabilitation scheme, she said.

She said that three documents have been included in the criteria set for the residents of Lakarpur Khori area of Faridabad that have been included in the rehabilitation scheme. In this, the income of the applicants family should not exceed Rs 3 lakh annually, the name of the head of the family should be registered in the voter list of Badkhal assembly constituency of Haryana as on January 1, 2021.

People included in voter list of National Capital Region of Delhi will not be included in the scheme. In second document, the head of the family should have a Parivar Pehchan Patra issued by the state of Haryana till January 1, 2021. As a third document, any member of the family, male or female, should have an electricity connection issued by the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigams, she said.

Notably, the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had recently announced plans to launch a rehabilitation scheme for Haryana voters only in Khori village. He had said that in total, 1,400 families are Haryana voters in this village.

950 Hry villages to get e-libraries: Dy CM

Addressing a public meeting at Shamdo village during his visit to his Uchana assembly constituency, he highlighted the construction of digital libraries and community centres in villages, besides the beautification of ponds, renovation of choupals, and building of gymnasiums, and stadiums. He mentioned 1-to-3 acres each allotted to 950 panchayats for community centres and e-libraries and how more than 200 of these projects were in progress.

He said the government had abudgetof Rs 1,200 crore for saving nine agricultural districts from floods and installed suction bores for the purpose. He said Shamdo and Chattar were among dozen neighbouring villages that will benefit from this plan. Their suction-bore budget is Rs 70 crore.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal on Sunday announced a bonanza of welfare schemes in the interest of sanitation workers in the state.

The monthly salary of sanitation workers working in rural areas has been increased from Rs 12,000 to Rs 14,000 per month and monthly salary of sanitation workers working in urban areas has been increased from Rs 15,000 to Rs 16,000 per month, said the Chief Minister during Safai Mitra Utthan Sammelan in Karnal.

Sanitary workers having annual income of upto Rs 1.80 lakh will be able to take a collateral free loan for Education of their children and if a person is not able to pay such loan, then it will be compensated by the .

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday said while realising Dr Mangal Sens dream of Antyodaya, the State Government has planned to increase the income of the poorest of the poor families and to bring them in the APL category for their economic upliftment.

A scheme has been started by the for the upliftment of the families at the bottom of the pyramid. Under Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojna, about 3.5 lakh families with annual income less than Rs 1 lakh have been identified, and a target has been set to increase their income up to Rs 2 lakh by ensuring benefits of welfare schemes through special Antyodaya Gram Utthan Melas. Such Melas are being organized in the state till December 25, the Chief Minister during a programme organised on the 31st death anniversary of former Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana, Dr Mangal Sen at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

The CM said the State Government is expanding facilities like Education, Health, etc. in the State. The State Government has decided to establish medical colleges in all 22 districts, under which medical colleges have either been established in 19 districts or their process is in progress, he added.
