Haryana cabinet gives nod to rules banning chit fund schemes

In a bid to ensure to a complete ban on the promotion or conduct of prize chits and circulation schemes, theHaryanagovernment has formulated Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Rules-2022 which will come into effect from the date of their publication.

As per the Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Rules-2022, no individual or company or firm or business association, in any form will promote, run or participate in money circulation scheme including a disguised money circulation scheme.
The nodal Police authority will be responsible for coordinating with other State Governments, the central government and agencies concerned under such government and the Reserve Bank Of India and will also be responsible for furnishing the information to the Reserve Bank of India in the format and periodicity as decided by the State Government in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India.

In a bid to further strengthen diplomatic connections and bilateral relations, Ambassadors, senior embassy officials from 12 African nations and Ministers and bureaucrats from Haryana came together here on Thursday with the beginning of a two-day long Haryana-Africa Conclave, series-1.

Focused to boost bilateral trade and connectivity between two regions, the conclave titled Transforming Haryana through a Go Global Approach is being organized by Foreign Cooperation Department, Haryana under the aegis of Haryana Government in consultation with the Union Ministry of External Affairs, said an official spokesman.

The conclave on Thursday saw the participation of Ambassadors, senior embassy officials from 12 African nations namely Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Madagascar, Nigeria, Eritrea, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Senegal, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Ghana as a part of series 1.

The two-day-long conclave will also witness the participation of Haryana Governor, Chief Minister, Minister of State- MEA, Deputy Chief Minister and delegations from African countries, and dignitaries from Union Ministry of External Affairs, the spokesman said. The spokesman said that the first Haryana Africa Conclave aims to boost economic and cultural ties, as not only will this create a framework and opportunities to collaborate but will also increase people-to-people engagement between the two regions. This conclave is a major step in this long-standing friendship, one that will reap benefits for both regions on their road to development.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday said that oxygen generator plants will be set up in all 135 community health centres (CHCs) and district hospitals of the state for uninterrupted oxygen supply.

The Chief Minister said this after virtually inaugurating four Oxygen Generator Plants in three government hospitals in Gurugram.These plants have been set up in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki India Limited.

Khattar said that industries have made a commendable contribution during the COVID-19 pandemic period.

In the first wave of Covid-19, there was a shortage of concentrators but soon this shortage was overcome, he said.

The while taking this challenge head-on is making dedicated efforts to set up oxygen plants in hospitals which would certainly prove beneficial in tackling the third wave. Since experts have predicted that in the third expected wave of COVID-19, children are likely to be affected more, therefore the government is making all necessary arrangements well in advance.

Adventure-sports training to be given to 1,000 youth every year in Hry: Khattar

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday announced that 1,000 youth of the state would be imparted training in adventure Sports every year by the so as to enable them to get EMPLOYMENT.

Besides this, adventure-sports will be started in the hills of Kalesar, Dhosi, Aravalli and Mewat, where three to five ‘adventure-sports camps’ will be organised every year other than such camps being organised in Morni, Panchkula.

An amount of Rs 2 crore will be spent every year on training in the above camps, said the Chief Minister while addressing the youth at the closing ceremony of the training programme named ‘Youthpreneur’ under the ‘Milkha Singh Adventure Sports Club’ organised by the Sports and Youth Affairs Department of Haryana.

Citing example of Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh and other great personalities, Khattar said that youth is energetic, thus, if this energy is channelised in the right direction, then the nation will surely be on the path of progress.

Heatwave in Punjab, Haryana drops countrys wheat production by 2.75 million tonnes: Agriculture Minister Tomar

Extreme weather conditions, especially in wheat growing states: Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, have negatively impacted the production of wheat crops in the country as the production has declined by 2.75 million tonnes this year.

As per the fourth estimate for the agricultural year 2021-22, the production of wheat is estimated at 106.84 million tones, indicating a dip of 2.75 million tonnes (2.5 per cent) as compared to 109.59 million tonnes estimated during 2020-21.

Experts are linking early heatwave in the month of March in Punjab, Haryana and UP with the dip this year.

The latest report of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) had already shed Light on the crop damage caused due to the scorching heatwave in the months of March and April 2022.

Haryana govt creates Overseas Placement Cell

In yet another step to facilitate the aspirants seeking jobs abroad, theHaryanagovernment has set up an Overseas Placement Cell.

During the visit, the delegation identified various job opportunities for Haryanvi youth abroad. Later, Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU) identified the job role of room attendants in the hospitality sector in Qatar. For this, there is an urgent need of hiring of the candidates by November 30, 2022. Besides this, many more opportunities have been identified by the University.

For the said job role, Shri Vishwakarma Skill University in collaboration with Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam has developed a registration portal for overseas placement.

This web-based integrated workflow system will provide a single platform to the youth seeking jobs abroad.

Amidst the protests by farmers against the State Government over the shortage of DAP fertilizer, Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, JP Dalal on Wednesday said that there will be no shortage of fertilizers in the state.

The state will soon get six more rakes of DAP fertilizer from the Central Government. The farmers should be prepared for sowing the next crop,

The Minister also hit out at the opposition parties and alleged that they created panic among the farmers and spread wrong information about the shortage of DAP Fertilizers. He said that it was opposition parties who held protests at few places in the state over the issue. It is true that at some places, long queues of farmers were witnessed to purchase the fertiliser but they will not face any problem now, he added.

Giving details of DAP fertilizer availability and demand, Dalal said that about 3 lakh MT of DAP fertilizer is required during the next Rabi crop 2021-22 in the state. Till date, about 1.38 lakh MT of DAP manure is available with the , out of which 1.10 lakh MT of DAP fertilizer has been given to the farmers.

Haryana: World’s largest safari park to be developed in Gurugram, Nuh

Haryanais all set to develop one of the largest jungle safari parks in the Aravalli Mountain range of Gurugram andNuhdistricts.

This project spread on an area of 10,000 acres will be the largest such project in the world.

At present, the largest curated safari park outside Africa is in Sharjah which was opened in February 2022 on an area of about 2,000 acres.

The proposed Aravalli Park would be five times more this size and it would include a large serpentarium, aviary/bird park, four zones for big cats, a large area for herbivores, an area for exotic animal birds, an underwater world, nature trails, visitors, tourism zones, botanical gardens, biomes, equatorial, tropical, coastal, desert, etc.
