Haryana is all set to become the first state in the country to set up district-wise helipad facilities to tackle war and emergency-like situations,Deputy Chief Minister.
Besides this, setting up of helipads in the Police lines, all arrangements will also be made for the security of these helipads. The information system of the police is very strong, so these helipads can be accurately used in case of any emergency, said the Deputy Chief Minister.
Haryana has so far paid Rs 14,693 crore directly into the account of the farmers till today on account of procurement of wheat.
Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said so 84.38 lakh tonnes of wheat has reached the mandis in the state. He informed that today 21,314 tonnes of wheat had been procured by the state procurement agencies at the minimum support price and so far, 82.58 lakh tonnes had been procured. He said instructions had been issued to all concerned that the wheat procurement in the mandis should be ensured on a daily basis.
Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Friday said that 10 NABL-accredited labs and quality marking centres will be set up to test the quality of the products across the states. He directed the officers to prepare a proposal in this regard.
Presiding over the review meeting of the Industries and Commerce Department, Chautala directed the officers to implement the policies of Industries and Commerce Department related to rural areas on priority basis. He said that farmers should be given detailed information about Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture & agro-based industries and businesses so that they can benefit by adding value to their products.
Chautala reviewed in detail the ‘Haryana Enterprises and EMPLOYMENT Policy 2020′, ‘, Warehousing and Retail Policy 2019′, ‘Electric Vehicle Policy 2022’ and ‘Haryana Enterprises Promotion Centre’ of the department. He asked the officers to speed up the work in the year 2023.
While reviewing the progress regarding various schemes of MSME, he said that the small industries being set up under the said schemes should be given complete support as per the rules so that the employment opportunities for the youth can be increased in the state.
The Deputy Chief Minister was informed that at present there are more than 9.70 lakhs MSMEs in the state, out of which 9.53 lakhs are micro units. More than 19.06 lakhs employment opportunities have been created under MSME in the state, which is a matter of pride for the state.
In a bid to bring various Insurance schemes under one umbrella, the Manohar Lal Khattar Government in Haryana has established Haryana Pariwar Suraksha Nyas.
The Trust has been formed to consolidate lakhs of beneficiaries of the existing insurance schemes of various Government departments under one roof to avoid duplication of beneficiaries, effective implementation of schemes and saving additional cost to the state exchequer.
A State Governments notification issued on Wednesday stated, The Governor of Haryana is pleased to establish Haryana Pariwar Suraksha Nyas under the provisions of the Indian Trust Act, 1862, as amended from time and time.
The terms and conditions for the functioning of the Trust are yet to be notified by the .
The objective of establishing the Trust is to ensure that there is no duplication of insurance schemes and beneficiaries in the state. At present, budgets for such schemes are allocated to different departments and rationalization of such schemes will also help the government save additional cost to the state exchequer. The State Government pays crores of rupees as premium under such insurance schemes annually yet many eligible beneficiaries could not avail the benefits.
Notably, the State Government had earlier launched Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) initiative to give benefits of the schemes and Services being given by various departments. About 64 lakh families in the state have been registered in the PPP to get a single unique family ID to avail benefits under government schemes and services.
The Haryana Cabinet accorded approval to bring an ordinance to set up an ad hoc committee till the are held for a panel to manage affairs of gurdwaras in the state.
The Supreme Court had recently upheld the constitutional validity of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara (Management) Act, 2014 under which there is a provision for a 41-member ad hoc panel to look after affairs of gurdwaras till a committee is constituted for it through elections. The committee has to be nominated by the government.
The Haryana Cabinet gave the approval to bring The Haryana Sikh Gurdwaras (Management) Amendment Ordinance-2022, said an official statement. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said earlier the elections to constitute a committee could not be held as the case was being heard in the Supreme Court.The 18-month term of the earlier formulated ad hoc panel had lapsed, he said.
Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar said on Tuesday that India is one of the youngest countries in the world, considering which, the is making every possible effort to inspire about 75 lakh youths in the age group of 18 to 35 in Haryana.
For this, Sports, Art and Culture can play an important role in nurturing the talent of the youth, he said, while directly interacting with the representatives of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) sports cell, who came to meet him at his residence.
The CM said that according to a study, 65 per cent of the Population of the country is youth, of which 30 per cent are in the age group of 18 to 35 and the participation of zero to 18 age group is about 35 per cent. “Hence, we have to pay extra attention to the age group of 18 to 35 as to how our Society should become a civilized society of high order,” he said.
Khattar said that Haryana is the first state in the country where an advance of Rs 5 lakh is given to any player to prepare for their selection for the Olympics. Apart from giving cash rewards to the players bagging first, second and third positions, the state government has started giving cash rewards also to the players who finish fourth in any sports.
The Chief Minister presided over a meeting of the Heads of Departments here regarding the implementation of PPP in the state. He said that PPP is an ambitious scheme of the , which aims to ensure the benefit of all the government welfare schemes and Services to the eligible families. This flagship scheme of the State Government has been launched in the spirit of Antyodaya, he said.
Khattar said that Haryana is the first state in the country to make such a scheme for making Parivar Pehechan Patra of each family. So far, this scheme has neither been started in the country nor abroad.
Khattar said that the present era is of Information Technology (IT). Services are being simplified with the use of IT. With the introduction of PPP, it will be easy to know who is eligible to take benefit of which scheme and who has not got the benefit of these schemes. Many times people, who are not genuine beneficiaries, are found taking benefits of schemes . Earlier there was no system to verify the beneficiaries, now there will be a complete transparency in the implementation of government schemes through PPP, he added.
The Chief Minister further said that now the benefits of government schemes will also be available through smart cards. Smart cards will be linked with PPP. Initially, Ayushman Bharat, Public Ration Distribution System, Mukhyamantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana and Pension Scheme are being linked with smart cards, he said.
Urban and rural local bodies will be able to make good use of it and the overall development of Rewari district will also be ensured, the Chief Minister said while talking to the mediapersons after participating in a programme organized at KLP College, Rewari.
He clarified that the land survey has been done for this project and the further process will be completed soon. The Chief Minister said that once the work of Lal Dora is completed, the people of the villages will also get facilities like regular colonies on similar lines of the cities.
A policy is also being formulated for the people having land outside the Lal Dora of the village. On the similar lines of development charge being levied in the cities, development works will be executed in rural areas too.
To provide better Irrigation facilities to the farmers of the Morni area of Panchkula situated on the Shivalik mountain ranges, the Haryana Government has decided to set up a major micro-irrigation project in Morni. The project, which would come up at a cost of Rs 20 crore is expected to cover approximately 1280 acres of land.
A decision to this effect was taken in the High Powered Purchase Committee (HPPC) meeting held here in Chandigarh under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Apart from this, purchases and contracts worth more than Rs 87 crore were also approved in the meeting.
A total of 4 agendas of Irrigation, Public Health Engineering Department and MICADA were taken up in the meeting and were approved. An amount of Rs. 1.41 crore has been saved after negotiations with various companies.
The Chief Minister said that the implementation of the Solar Powered Integrated Project for villages Tapariya, Kandaiwala, Kaimbwala, Kherwali Parwala and Lashkariwala in the Morni area will not only provide irrigation facilities but also help in increasing Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture produce in the area. After the success of this pilot project, such projects will be set up at other places in the state.
The Haryana Government has decided to pay the premium of the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana under which the BPL families are paid Rs 2 lakh after the death of the insured person.
Besides the poor, who have lost their family members prematurely during the second Covid wave and for some reason could not fill the form for the benefit of this scheme, will be given Rs 2 lakh by the state.
For this, the first instalment of the premium must be in the account of the holder. As soon as the instalment is deducted from the account, the premium would be deposited in it by the government, he said. The scheme was for people aged 18 to 50 years with an annual premium of Rs 330, he said.
