Boost to health infrastructure: Two 50-bed govt hospitals soon in new sectors in Gurgaon

The Health department plans to set up two hospitals to improve healthcare Services in new sectors and ease patient load on district-level facilities. The hospitals, each with 50 beds, will be built onHSVPland between sectors 39 and 55.
Health officials said the facilities will be constructed by HSVP and will function under the supervision of community health centres in the area. The plots will be identified and construction will start soon, they said.
The hospitals will provide subsidised primary care, which includes primary medical treatment, preventive healthcare and health Education. In these hospitals, patients will be able to meet doctors and get pathological tests and minor procedures done.

The objective is to fill critical gaps in health , surveillance, and health research in both urban and rural areas, so communities are equipped in managing pandemics or other public health crises
