The Vice Chancellor Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (IGKV), Dr Girish Chandel, on Monday said Chhattisgarh is rich in and its proper use can help make the state prosperous.
Prof Chandel was addressing the international Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture expo Agri Carnival-2022 organized by the Agriculture Department and the Chhattisgarh Biotech Promotion Society.
Saying Chhattisgarh has identified a rice variety which was cancer resistant, Prof Chandel stressed the need to increase its production so that it could be used in manufacturing medicine against the deadly disease.
