Bihar legislative council now first House in country to go paperless

Biharlegislative council acting chairpersonAwadhesh Narain Singh inaugurated National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA), making it the first digital House in the country. Sharing the photos of the events, the Union ministry of parliamentary affairs described it as a historical day for NeVA.

The Centres ambitious NeVA project is part of Digital India programme aimed at making the functioning of Parliament as well as the state legislatures paperless. BiharVidhan Parishadis the first House in the country to move in this direction.
