Prime Minister Narendra Modi
announced the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission on September 27, 2021.Every Indian would be given a unique health ID that will also function as a health account, allowing personal health records to be linked.
The mission’s goal is to create interoperability throughout the digital health ecosystem, similar to how the Unified Payments Interface revolutionised payments.
