Andhra University is likely to get a DEFENCE chair from the Union ministry of defence. An online meeting-cum-video conference was organised between directorate general resettlement director general Major General Sharad Kapur and Andhra University vice-chancellor Prof PVGD Prasad Reddy.The meeting deliberated on several sponsored courses from the ministry of defence to Andhra University for the armed forces.
Several proposals were submitted to Andhra University on this occasion, including providing admissions into the executive PhD programme at AU for all the officers undergoing courses in National Defence College.
