Chief Minister YSJagan Mohan Reddyhas said that the government has transformed farming sector. He said the state could prosper only when the farmer is happy. He said that the government has implemented several welfare schemes for farmers in the last 40 months. JaganMohan Reddydisbursed input subsidy and zero interest amount to farmers on Monday. Similarly, the chief minister released 160.55 crore to 8.22 lakh farmers under zero interest benefit (YSR Sunna Vaddi Panta Runalu). Zero interest scheme is applicable to all those farmers availed crop loans below 1 lakh and repaid the amount within stipulated deadline by banks.
