The has added 809 more procedures toArogyasriprogramme. This will take the total number of procedures to 3,255 from the existing 2,436.
Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday held a review meeting with officials of the Health department. During the meeting it was decided to increase the Arogyasri cover.
Earlier, the government provided Insurance cover for only 1,056 procedures. It was increased to 2,196 in May 2019. In January 2020, the number was again increased to 2,059. In November 2020, the total number of procedures were increased to 2,436 including 10 Covid-19 procedures.
