Amara Raja, GMR to jointly set up E-Hub

GMR Group said that Amara Raja Batteries has inked a land lease agreement to set up an advanced energy research and innovation centre E-Hub at the GMR Aerospace & Industrial Park at AeroCity Hyderabad.

The E-Hub is being set up by Amara Raja group as part of its 9,500 crore giga corridor project and will also support start-ups through incubation, lab spaces and a collaborative ecosystem.

director Vikramadithya Gourineni said the unique facility, which would be open to all players, would hasten the development of viable technologies in the new energy space.
