Aiming to promote Sanskrit in Uttar Pradesh, the state government has decided to impart Sanskrit speaking training to the people willing to speak, read and learn the language.

Professionals from various fields, citizens and students, will be able to benefit from this facility by registering with a missed call at mobile phone number 9522340003, filling up a form and completing required formalities. They will then be trained through virtual classes of an hour each day for 20 days free of cost from the end of July.

The Uttar Pradesh government is constantly trying to inculcate , said to be the language of Gods, and give opportunities to those who want to learn the ancient language. Uttar Pradesh Sanskrit Sansthan is playing a big role in giving a meaningful shape to this government endeavour. Along with Hindi and English, arrangements are now being made by the State Government to give Sanskrit training to every child.

President of UP Sanskrit Sansthan, Dr Vachaspati Mishra, said that students who wanted to study Sanskrit would also be imparted information about moral values along with the knowledge of the rich language. “It is a novel effort of the government to teach Sanskrit through free classes along with Hindi and English,” he pointed out
