UnderMukhyamantri Bal Sewa Yojana(Samanya) non-Covid orphans receive Rs 2,500 per month till the minor attains the age of 18 years. However, the fund is given maximum to two minors of a family.
Further, the WCD has raised a request to the for Rs 40 crore for 12,429 Covid orphans. Under Mukhyamantri Bal Sewa Yojana (covid), the orphans receive Rs 4,000 per month till the age of 18 years.
In the scheme, every minor of the family is covered and is also given a tablet after completing the board exam. Further, the orphans are funded for their higher Education till the age of 23 years.
