After a law for death sentence in killer hooch cases, theMadhya Pradeshgovernment is going to enact a tough anti-gangster law.The state government is going to bring about MP Anti-Gangster Bill to control organized crime.

Thehome departmenthas sent the draft bill to the law department for clearance so that it can be placed before the cabinet.

The anti-gangster law will have provisions for two-to-10 years imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 25,000. If anyone attacks a public servant — you may have seen incidents of stones being hurled at government officials — the quantum of imprisonment will increase from two years to five years, and the fine will be hiked from Rs 25,000 to Rs 50,000.
